I don't know if this is the first or second single from the album In The Mouth Of The Young, but I like this band and I think this is a very good choice for radio. Going Blind or Cancer California also would've worked. This goes for adds at active on August 21st.

My station played "Cancer California". It was contagious.

They blew when they opened for Avenged last fall. I don't get what Page Hamilton sees in them. Rather, I don't understand why he would agree to produce an album by a band of this style.

Well, I don't think Page particularly cares who he produces at all. He's currently signed on to produce the new Classic Case album and they fit his style even less than Bullets And Octane. But it's funny that you mention Avenged, because according to Page he was originally going to produce City Of Evil, and he's actually very disappointed with the way that album eventually turned out, because he wanted to expose more of the GNR elements in Avenged's music and in his opinion they went in a less effective direction.

I read three months ago that he didn't get the City of Evil gig when I was reading that he produced the B&O Railroad album. Quoth Mr. Hamilton: "You wouldn't know [they can play] from the record"?! What the hell is that supposed to mean?? What the hell does all that ridiculously intricate musicianship sound like to him? And that's some nerve of his, passing off Avenged's approach as a "mistake."

Oh, Iron Maiden, not GNR. My bad. But yeah, that's what he said. I think Page has just become a befuddled old biddy. Like deciding that Helmet was a hardcore band and then crapping out Monochrome.
