They also apparently performed "Running Away", the B-side that inexplicably wasn't on their album. If they were going to perform that song on the show, there's no reason why it shouldn't have made the album. "running away" is Midnight Hour's song www.myspace.com/midnighthourrockThis is a good song. They are on an episode of Ghost Whisper on Thursday i believe. and Ghost Whisperer is on Friday, not Thurday.

Damn FMQB:
Three Days Grace will be performing in a club on tonight's episode of the CBS series The Ghost Whisperer, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt. The group will be playing "Running Away" on the show. In other news, keep an ear out for FMQB Productions' radio special Three Days Grace: Behind The Pain, airing on stations across the country from December 8 to 31. The special finds the band performing at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, where singer Adam Gontier began his own journey to sobriety. Three Days Grace will give an intimate performance for the center's patients, and Adam will discuss the band's music and hold a Q&A session with the audience to discuss their own recovery, drawing on his own experiences as well.
They're normally accurate, so I guess I won't hold it against them...this time.

This should easily become another Top 5 for them I believe.
The band appears to have a keen sense on how they can maintain their staple status at both Alternative and Active Rock; release hook-driven singles that have a mainstream-potential hook, but channeled with fierce, bouncing metal riffs. And I think this band remains huge on both formats because they can appeal to the more emo crowds on Alternative with their easily accessible, angst-driven lyrics, while not coming off as too feminine, either musically or personally, to Active Rock listeners.
From what I've heard, this song is actually about the band's experiences with loneliness while touring on the road; that it can be so quiet and they can feel so distant that at most frustrating moments they'd rather feel something, even if it's pain, than be completely reserved in silence.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

My two online friends (who are boys) are obsessed with the lead singer, Adam Grontier, and think he's HawT or whatever.

This is a good song. They are on an episode of Ghost Whisper on Thursday i believe. What is Ghost Whisper(er)? If it's anything like Ghost Hunters (Sci-Fi channel) or if it involves endeavors into the paranormal, then I am truly missing out.

I don't watch the show myself, but my basic understanding of the premise is it's Jennifer Love Hewitt talking to dead people, and that helps resolve whatever conflict each episode deals with.

They played themselves on Jennifer Love Hewitt's B-show, The Ghost Whisperer in an episode about a rocker haunted by a ghost. I didn't watch it. So, I don't watch it. But from the previews it looks like one of those WB (or CW) shows in the same style as Charmed, Supernatural, and even Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Weird that its on CBS though.

I guess you guys didn't see my post before? ??? I made an unacknowledged sarcastic remark to DJ General, referring to your original post about it, if that helps...

I love this song! 3DG is quickly becoming a new obsession for me. I've loved every song I've heard from them and that's rare.

Personally, I'd like to see heavier rock songs that have some sort of pop sensibility on pop stations. There aren't enough.

I've stopped listening to my local pop station because of that. Now I'm by no stretch a metal head but in the last 5 or 6 months I've become pretty much obsesssed with alternative rock. It started with Blue October's Hate Me when I was flipping channels cuz I was sick of hearing the same song 20 times on 93.3 and it's quickly devolved from there! I now own Hinder, both 3days grace, she wants revenge, Blue October, The Killers, etc.... not bad for a girl whose favorite singer is Kelly Clarkson LOL....
3 days grace IMO floats the line perfectly between those of us who aren't hard enough to want thrash metal and those of you who are.
their lyrics are amazing and their driving instrumentation just pounds into you and I love it!!!
I'd love to see them release Riot but with all the swearing I'm not sure it's radio friendly enough.... but that's hands down my favorite track on the CD... hell my favorite song overall right now...

I don't ever want to hear this song again so I'm not looking forward to it being overplayed. LOL, I don't know if I'd go that far, but it's not really my thing, either. "Just Like You" is probably my favorite of theirs from either album, but not enough to pick up any of 'em.

Personally, I'd like to see heavier rock songs that have some sort of pop sensibility on pop stations. There aren't enough. To this day, I still wonder how a song like "Headstrong" could have possibly done so well at pop radio. I mean, it just had that angsty metallic feel that I would think pop radio would stay far away from, especially at the time when rock crossovers were not exactly a-plenty. Either way, I honestly like everything about this song except the toy piano, which sounds reminiscent of a couple recent Hoobastank songs (any guesses?). And maybe it sounds a little too much like "Coming Undone". Nonetheless, it's just a perfect hard-rocking sound that sounds great on the radio.

I can see this song doing well on the Hot AC chart. Not sure about Pop though. It'd be nice if the Hot AC charts had harder songs like this.

I've been wondering too. I think r3M also includes satellite radio, video channels and whatnot.

They just performed this on Craig Ferguson...Don't know if that's going to be enough to cross 'em over.
