Apparently this was released on the "Why Cry" single last month. This is now getting minimal airplay, and the rumor is that this will be the second single from their album (ONe), which just came out on Tuesday. It's available on their website and myspace. Did anyone catch their appearance on the Tonight Show last week?
As for this song, it's far more upbeat than "Why Cry", and less radio friendly. Reminds me of STP's "Core" era. The lead singer sounds like a cross between the frontmen of Default and Lo-Pro; pretty talented.

Well, I've never been a giant fan of either fans (although I loved "Sunday"), but I'll have to admit both vocalists are rather decent, and the one from Lo-Pro blows me away in sort of a bland nu-rock sort of way. They should have released this song as the lead single.

I like this better than Why Cry, but it is less radio friendly. I'm not expecting it to do so well overall, since it only has a bullet currently of +10, but then again I don't believe it has an official adds date yet, even though I think I saw one just a few days ago on FMQB.

I've just listened to their album, and my God, it's awful......simply a waste of time.
For those of you hoping this could be the next Velvet Revolver or something of sorts, you're going to be hugely disappointed, as all the songs sound so blatantly generic, like a disingenuous blend of imitation Foo Fighters, Seven Mary Three and post-grunge substitute.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

I like post-grunge substitute, and good sir, I'll not have you talking about perfectly good blatantly generic disingenuous blends of imitation in that fashion.

The reviews I've seen for this album have just been horrible.

I was thinking more of a Candlebox-meets-Nixons-meets-Athanaeum blend myself, but, I'll take your comparison. So I guess we should now begin looking for the kidnapped ex-Jane's members.

They were one of those underrated bands during the late 90s that I feel should have done a lot better than they did. I remember What I Didn't Know and Flat Tire got some minor airplay at least on WPBZ back then.

The reviews I've seen for this album have just been horrible. There's been many times I've been at odds with the music critics, especially on frequently successful mainstream artists like matchbox twenty and Five For Fighting who I credit for writing songs many can emotionally relate with easily and I feel that the critics bash them more out of jealousy than anything. Incubus have also been attacked by most critics on virtually all their albums to date, though I happen to like them a lot in that they make genuine efforts overall to expand their sound, and Brandon Boyd is also a real mature songwriter, where sometimes, yes, he can be vague and you can't quite connect with the lyrics, but many of them are poetic, such as with "Talk Show On Mute" and "Here In My Room" from their last album. However, I have to say I agree with the critics on this one! ;) Sincerely, Noah Eaton
