Yes. Several times. When I was a little girl in Los Angeles, I used to listen to KMET-AM on the radio. It was sort of a Top-40 rock station, and Bob Eubanks was my favorite dj at the time. Then, many years later, I went out to the Palm Springs area to work. The station that came in the best in the Beaumont/Banning area was KMET-AM. When I started listening to it, the format was quite an ecclectic and bizarre mix of polka music, religious talk, big band, sports...but I got good reception there. When I asked people about it, they told me that it had recently changed from being a country format! Now, it has gradually changed to Smooth Jazz and Sports, a little talk. The best thing on the station is a talk/interview show called "A JAZZ LIFE" The host is a girl named Robin Stewart. She interviews jazz musicians both in the studio and backstage at festivals, etc. She is adorable and the musicians sound relaxed, interesting. And the show ties in to her tv show on the local station. I love it, but now I can only get it when I'm working in the desert. I'm watching the website for the smooth jazz interviews ( www.ajazzlife.com) to see when it syndicates to my home area. Good old KMET-AM. I hope the programming doesn't change again!

I had left Anaheim long before 95.9 KEZY flipped formats. (I was there on vacation in 1987) KEZY was a CHR/Pop and was an AT40 affiliate. It was on Sunday arround midday as I recall. Salem took over and flipped it to Cont. Christian as KFSH.

My favorite station switched to gospel on Xmas eve. What a damper on the holiday! I remember that format change well! The last song WDBT (95.5 The Beat; 4/1/1999-12/24/2003) had played (before the big announcement) was Pink's God Is A DJ.
