P.O.D. really needs a big hit bad. They haven't had a true huge charting single since Youth Of The Nation, so I hope this is the song to possibly do it.

P.O.D. really needs a big hit bad. They haven't had a true huge charting single since Youth Of The Nation, so I hope this is the song to possibly do it. It won't be. It's from a GH compilation that is coming out through Rhino. The single probably won't recieve a huge push for either reason. Not that it matters much, P.O.D. will release a new album early next year and maybe they'll make their comeback then. Or not. I think they've grown comfortable with the fact that they may not ever be huge stars again. At any rate, the GH complilation looks like so. 01 - "Southtown" (from The Fundamental Elements Of Southtown) 02 - "Boom" (from Satellite) 03 - "Going In Blind" (new) 04 - "Roots In Stereo" (from Testify) 05 - "Alive" (from Satellite) 06 - "Youth Of The Nation" (from Satellite) 07 - "Sleeping Awake" (from The Matrix Reloaded Soundtrack) 08 - "Rock The Party (Off The Hook)" (from The Fundamental Elements Of Southtown) 09 - "Lights Out" (from Testify) 10 - "Goodbye For Now" (from Testify) 11 - "Execute The Sounds" (from Payable On Death) 12 - "Will You" (from Payable On Death) 13 - "Truly Amazing" (from The Passion Of The Christ Soundtrack) 14 - "Satellite" (from Satellite) 15 - "Set Your Eyes To Zion" (from The Fundamental Elements Of Southtown) 16 - "Here We Go" (new) 17 - "If It Wasn't For You" (from The Warriors II EP) The breakdown then is thus. Southtown = 3 Satellite = 4 Payable = 2 Testify = 3 Soundtrack = 2 EP = 1 New = 2 All around, a nice and balanced mix of their output thus far.

POD hasnt had a charting single since the sattlite album, because they've gone down hill since them... Atlantic did right by releasing them. thier whole rap reggae thing they are trying to pull isnt working for them.

Atlantic did right by releasing them. thier whole rap reggae thing they are trying to pull isnt working for them. I don't know what you mean by charting single, but "Will You", "Change The World", "Sleeping Awake", "Goodbye For Now", and "Lights Out" all were on the chart. Not high, but they were represented. And P.O.D. left Altantic because Atlantic wasn't promoting them anymore in any real way. P.O.D. made the right choice in leaving Atlantic because Atlantic has screwed over a lot of artists, including Cold, No Address, and Taproot to name a few. And P.O.D. is still a good band. Testify was a much better album than Payable On Death and was unfortunately overlooked due in no small part to Altantic's negligence in promoting and the unfortunate block the band had on using "Roots In Stereo" as the single.

Testify was better than Payable on death, but that isnt saying much... the reason i think Atlantic stopped promoting them is because thier music took a turn for the worse.

I'm just glad that I will finally be able to get "Sleeping Awake" without buying the Matrix Reloaded Soundtrack.
