Well congratulate me, I've managed to think beyond your words and look at your deeper meaning and I see what you're saying.
I think what you're getting at is a good point, and I think it's exactly right. Downloading music, if it is a factor, is not the only factor. You may very well be right about DVDs, since it does have a place as a possible contributor, if not the sole cause behind slumping CD sales. And you're right about a sea of crap and people having to wade through it. You're right about the expensive cost.
What it boils down to is that piracy is an easier and more visible target to hit than anything else. It's easier to point to thieves as the cause of the industry's downfall than it is to point to anything else that can't be as easily dealt with.

Did this even go for adds? If so , then screw rock radio! This should be as big as anything Three Days Grace and Breaking Benjamin have released off their latest albums.

According to FMQB it didn't, so I think maybe that's the case. I'm not sure if it will go for adds either because the band is currently working on their second album called The Pursuit Begins When This Portrayal Of Life Ends.

it did go for adds. at least according to myspace, they sent a bulletin a day out saying to request beg on the radio, that was like 2 months ago now. it never really did gain much play.

It could have been sent to a few stations, but it never went officially for adds. There's a difference between a song getting airplay and a song being added.

i know there is a difference, but they acted like it got added. their label probably didnt want to push another single, so maybe they just tried to do it by request. i dont know.
