I hope I didn't mispell anything. The song goes for adds 11/14. The chorus feels very sudden but it rocks. "Roadside" should be a nice way to end this Era.

So they made a video for Injected for no apparent reason I guess? Whatever the case is both songs freaking rock my socks off, which is funny since I'm currently not wearing any. Once again, Rise Against never fails to amaze me. I agree that Roadside would be the perfect third single so that they can mix it up a bit.

I don't even know if the "Injection" video exists. Youtube doesn't have it.

The chorus feels very sudden but it rocks. Yeah, that's definitely true. Great song, but the hook isn't quite as infectious as that of "Ready To Fall", easily their best song to date, among album tracks and singles.

So is this officially bigger than "Swing Life Away" now?

Chartwise, perhaps, but unless it grows considerably more, it'll never eclipse the notoriety of "Swing Life Away."

"Swing Life Away" does still seem like the more memorable song to me, but with the way "Prayer" sort of loitered around just short of the top 10 for a few months now, it may be a pretty close call. I've heard it about 3 times on the radio, total, but it's a top 10 hit, so somebody's gotta be taking notice.
Rise Against did not play "Swing Life Away" during their show as opener for MCR.

The mid-afternoon DJ for Seattle's 107.7 The End and Kansas City's 96.5 KRBZ noted how when some singers screamed, you really couldn't believe it, but one can really *believe* Tim McIlrath when he screams in the music. I wholeheartedly agree.
It's amazing that this is doing considerably better than "Ready To Fall". It's already surpassed 20 weeks on the chart, and it appears headed toward the top 5. Although the chorus has a similar epic-ness to it, it's not instantly remarkable like "Ready".
I think successful first singles, or one of their earlier songs, are usually the most memorable for groups. When I think of Papa Roach, I think of "Last Resort". When I think of Disturbed, I think of "Down With The Sickness". When I think of Incubus, I think of "Pardon Me" or "Drive". Even though those bands have matched or preceeded that success with later singles.
