Third single from Define The Great Line comes out January 8th, although honestly, I don't know why they keep releasing singles. They're not a radio band. The album is great, they're a great band, but I just don't see this going anywhere.

Yeah, you basically summed it up. They have a HUGE underground type fanbase, and didn't they go or almost go gold in their first week of sales? They don't need to release crap to radio to be "cool."

I agree. Although I have to be in a certain bummed out, "emo" mood to actually listen to and enjoy their songs. If I'm not in that mood, it's just a bitter, messy nonsense. There, I said it.

Well, this is ever so dumb. "In Regards To Myself" wasn't even sent to radio but it *was* treated with a really cool video thanks to all those Poltergeist-looking girls they hired. I doubt they'll invest more money on creating another video.
They're Only Chasing Safety had more hit songs, yet, only two singles were released. I think the epic "Some Will Seek Forgiveness, Others Escape" would've helped get that album go to Gold status.

Nope, but they almost broke 100,000 sales and earned #2 on Billboard. It would have been an amazing success story if Loose hadn't been #1 and Underoath squeeked one out.

TBS puts on a good show. They were also at the Buzz Bake Sale. The main vocalist needs to sing a little louder though cause the guitarist was way louder than him.

I doubt they'll invest more money on creating another video. I'm wrong. Not only are they making a video for this, but also for "A Moment Suspended in Time". Wow, 4 singles! :o

Well, they did have great first week sales. I figured that may have had something to do with it...have they gone gold yet or are they even close?

Bands make lots of extra videos that never go anywhere. I don't know why some of you always assume that videos are only ever made for singles and that they're so expensive that they can only afford to make a couple per album. I would think that if OK Go taught us anything, it's that a great video can be made with very little cash and effort.

Yeah, however, Underoath's past few videos look like they had fairly big budgets.
And weird, although I have this song placed 8/11, "A Moment Suspended in Time" is all the way up at #2. Apparently, despite the album being mostly indistinguishable from one song to the next, I do seem to have a fair grasp on which ones they make videos for, as "In Regards to Myself" was my "favorite" when I ranked 'em.

Both of Aaron Gillespie's projects have made the MTV2 Rock Countdown. You're Ever So Inviting just entered along with The Almost's Say This Sooner.
