www.visionsounds.com/signed_acts.aspThe link above confirms that the band has already filmed a video for the second single from their album Don't You Fake It. Wikipedia also confirms that it will be a single from the album. I'll keep you posted.

Hmm. Interesting. I love this song. I love the entire album. But this would've been one of the last choices I would've chose for a single, especially a second single. I already began charting "Your Guardian Angel," that is definitely the fan favorite. I thought they'd choose "Damn Regret," since that also seems popular. Either way, they deserve more attention from the radio than they've been getting so far. They have a huge fanbase it seems, but their radio stats don't show that.

Eh, I really loved "Face Down" but this song can kiss my ass. I hate it.

Hey, cool, another Pulse member from Kansas City. Which part are you from, MinusName? I think they've been getting unexpectedly great radio attention, at least with their first single. I mean, they've almost been completely unpublicized in magazines. They basically don't have a commercial sound or sort of a novelty quality that would catapult them to the top or near the top. They're pretty much another (great, might I add) Warped act. "Face Down" is already nearing its twentieth week on the chart and is at #7.

I'm actually really glad they don't have a commercial sound or a novelty quality, especially now that this is being sent to Pop.

It already went for adds? So...is it then bombing due to "Face Down" still being so "hot"?

I remember hearing Face Down on the radio last May, so that means it's been around for basically a year already? This is almost like 30 Seconds To Mars The Kill's run for over a year on the chart, however From Yesterday started doing well right after it was added. I don't ever remembering this kind of thing happening much in the past where songs would remain popular for a year or more's time.

Exactly. And "The Kill" is just now entering the CHR/Pop top 40 as well.
I'll never understand first singles doing remarkably well and then respectable (sounding) follow-ups completely bombing.

And most of the time, I prefer the flopping single.
Not this time, though...this is just boring.

It fell to #102... on the recurrent chart.
recurr RED JUMPSUIT APPARATUS False Pretense 66 94 -28 0.351
Meanwhile, "Face Down" is still bulleted and trying to get back to 1000 spins.

They are going to end up a one-hit wonder.

They are going to end up a one-hit wonder. And it's unfortunate because I think they're a great band with a great CD, but this song is not one of the stellar tracks. This should never have been a single.

And replaced with a sad face, am I rite? Oh, haha. I didn't really even notice the angry face I put there. I guess I could have put an angry or sad one considering the circumstances. Not that the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus sounds incredibly different than some other bands out there, but after hearing Face Down just a few times, I thought they had potential to become really big which obviously they did with that one song. However, seeing False Pretense totally bomb, which I believe may even be a better song than Face Down, I have to agree that they may not have another song chart again. It totally sucks. Alright I'll use the sad face this time... :(

i can deff see damn regret and your guardien angel doing well on alternative if they decide to release them...i just think they made the wrong choice going with false pretense. i dont see the appeal to it at all.

"Your Guardian Angel" is going to pop. I personally would like to hear "In Fate's Hands" on alternative.

And replaced with a sad face, am I rite? More like a Jerry Seinfeld, sarcastic "That's a shame" face. I.e., my intended tone of American Idiot's quoted reply, sans emoticon. ...But you already knew that.
