So is this going to be their first single from their upcoming album? I saw it on some radio promo disks (for December), so I'm assuming it's going to be added to stations soon.
Anyways, its a pretty darn good track...really catchy chorus too. Hope it does well!

No "Once in a Lifetime"? I can't say that I blame them, but meh.

I never like this band's singles but they always have some really good album tracks. Like I love "Splinter" and "Without" but think songs like "Ugly" and "Hey You" are really not their best. This single is no different...

According to the band, "Once In A Lifetime" is still their first single. I believe, however, that this is on some soundtrack somewhere, which explains why it might be on a promotional disc.

I thought Inertia was a good album all-around, with songs like "Kickout" and "Can't Relate" being pretty decent songs in a category I don't know how to identify. "My Goddess" was really more of a straightforward, retro-leaning rock song, but nothing terribly special. IMO, their last album was pretty generic and nothing too terribly special. I didn't hear the post-Nirvana in their '03 album ??? Look forward to hearing this but I don't have terribly high expectations.

This is awesome. It may have to compete with My Goddess as my favorite Exies single. This fits in well with many of the mainstream bands doing well currently, so if Once In A Lifetime sounds anything like this, there's no reason for it not to sprout up the charts. It just depends on how much they're promoted.

RETURN OF THE EXIES: Mark yet another major-label band taking the indie route. After a pair of well-received albums on Virgin, The Exies, the L.A. rockers formed by singer/songwriter Scott Stevens and bassist Freddy Herrera (with ex-HITS art director Chris Skanes on guitar) move over to Allen Kovac’s ADA-distribbed Eleven Seven Music. Their new album, A Modern Way of Living With the Truth, hits retail April 10, with the first single, “Different Than You,” already stirring up action at Active and Modern Rock. The group’s residency at Hollywood’s famed Whisky-a-Go-Go continues tonight with a show at 10:45 p.m., which can be seen streamed live on www.stickam.com. Shameless plug: Listen to their live appearance on "Media Whores" on KLSX 97.1 L.A. this Sunday night at 5 p.m. or stream it on www.971freefm.com. (2/21p) This from Hits Daily Double.com.

This is really good...much better than "Ugly" (and "My Goddess").

This is really good, but not much better than "Ugly" (and especially "My Goddess").
