All Access Net News says Apex Broadcasting has changed Hot AC WCSQ to Top 40 WIHB. Current Charleston CHR-Pop station WSSX is sixth in the ratings and owned by Citadel, while WCSQ was in 17th with a rating in the 1s.

GM Chris Johnson is currently looking for a new PD to replace Billy Surf, who exited last week. Among those artists heard in the 1pm hour: Kanye West, Usher, Kelly Carlson, 50 Cent, Fall Out Boy, Mariah Carey and Rihanna. From me: Why is R&R employing somebody who can't spell the name of one of the most popular current artists, Kelly Clarkson (see misspelling above)?
