This is the actual new single from the upcoming Neon Bible. It's, in my opinion, one of the most haunting things I've heard in ages. INTERVENTION (RADIO RIP)

So they changed the single and album title. Interesting. Does it still come out on the same release date or no?

Actually, it's a lot different in terms of instrumentation. I mean, that's a WHOLE lot of fucking organ. And glockenspiels. Haha. I don't know if you've heard the original, live version they played awhile back during an acoustic set, but it's actually more organic & stripped-down than this. I think I prefer this version; it's just epic. This could be one of those career-defining singles, and maybe even a definitive single of the 2000s. I went to the Us Kids Know forum & half the forum had tears in their eyes when they heard this. Something about AF is just so heartbreakingly sincere, and it's a jarring quality.

Has anyone noticed the guitar riff from "Neighborhood #3" on CNN's Anderson Cooper 360? I've recently begun watching CNN religiously, and notice they use these awesome groups' music (including the Strokes) during lead-ins for several of their shows.

I think everyone already has "Intervention", but here's "Black Wave/Bad Vibrations". If these two tracks are any indication, this could be one of the best albums ever made. And I'm not speaking lightly. BWBV might be even better than "Intervention". I don't know...judge for yourself - I can't really speak right now. Too struck by emotion. "Black Wave/Bad Vibrations"- Arcade Fire.

solace @ UKK: "i don't know what the first single is, but i've been informed that 'Intervention' is categorically not the official first single from Neon Bible."
