Well, if you ever needed more proof that anything Beatles sells, there it is.

Hopefully one day they'll find some archived footage of them on the can; I predict at least 2 top-10 hits and platinum status to spawn from such an album. It's really incredible how much weight they still pull.

Some interesting positions of note there, for sure. It's my belief that rock music is likely the most pirated (male teenager and young adult demographic), so to see those pretty strong sales, especially for bands like Snow Patrol and Keane, is encouraging.

Likewise, it's tough to be happy to see bands like Yellowcard, Lostprophets and Dashboard Confessional doing so poorly; they put out their best work last year, but it seems like their success has already peaked.
