Bad. Wrong. No. Fucking stupid stupid choice for a single.
Goes for adds February 12th and they are so fucking retarded if this goes through.
I love Foiled to death but this is easily the most throwaway worthless song on the album. Anything, "You Make Me Smile", "She's My Ride Home", "Congratulations", "What If We Could", would make a better choice than this. I have no idea what the fuck they are thinking, but I'm madder than I've ever been.

I always liked the beat to this. If my musical definitions are correct, this is kind of an electronic-type song, right?
I'm not sure if I like the idea of this as a single. It's also the other song from 'Foiled' to make reference (sample?) to 'Calling You', from their last album. The first, of course, being 'Hate Me'.

Yuck. Plain yuck. This song just sucks.
What's wrong with putting out "She's My Ride Home" (which would be a perfect follow-up since it uses the same string arrangement as "Into the Ocean") or "You Make Me Smile"? Worst. record. label. ever.

I'd have agreed with "What If We Could" or "You Make Me Smile".
I totally disagree with this choice.

This was the first song on the CD to really grab me. Definitely a favorite. On the other hand, songs that grab me are not usually good single material, so I don't predict this will do much.

That's what it's listed as on Mediabase, for what it's worth.
I remember liking the clip that they stuck at the end of "Hate Me" on iTunes, but hearing the whole song, I'm not sure what to make of it. It's certainly a weird song to release as a single. But right now I at least like it more than "Into The Ocean", which my station is still all over for some reason.

Just listened to it again. I like what little guitar there is in the song, but for the most part it's way too weird. They need to remove that crowd cheer, that's what's so annoying.

Technically I guess that's the "chorus".

That's mostly what bugs me about the song too. The verses are fine, but the "chorus" with that cheering is just a mess. I thought maybe I had downloaded a live version at first, but nope.

Honestly people. Who gives a fuck what the name of the song is. Either way, I agree that this had to be the worst possible choice for a third single since it resembles nothing about their typical rock sound except that they can make a techno song periodically. I have to admit it is pretty catchy, but I would have chose a harder song like What If We Could or Drilled A Wire Through My Cheek after two singles from the softer choices of Foiled.

This song is flopping. Hard.
They may have just decided to pull it last minute.

Really? Awww... And I've been charting it too. Did they announce another single as a replacement? That's too bad but I don't disagree with it.

If "What If We Could" is not the next single, there is no justice.

Congratulations is the next single. Eh, there are better choices than that. Congratulations has this unusual nursery rhyme thing going there, but I still think it would be a better choice than X-Amount Of Words.

And they probably want to cash in on the appearance by Imogen Heap.

Heard from where? Do you have a source for this or is it just an assumption you're making?

And they probably want to cash in on the appearance by Imogen Heap. Wow. That's a seemingly odd pairing.
