Rush Limbaugh returns to his radio show on Monday.

I'm sure Alan Colmes, Randi Rhodes (WJNO) and Bernie Ward (KGO) are quaking in their boots.

I'm sure Alan Colmes, Randi Rhodes (WJNO) and Bernie Ward (KGO) are quaking in their boots. Along with the 26 people who listen to each of those programs. Personally, I'm not a big Rush fan. The guy just totes the party line and never disagrees with the President or Republican congress. Hannity is far superior.

For a little FYI, Randi is #1 in West Palm Beach, way ahead of Rush, who also calls the area home. KGO is the #1 rated station in San Francisco, so there are more than 26 people listening.
I will agree with you on Hannity. At least he will interview people of different political persuasions, something a lot of talk show hosts, left or right, won't do.

I have always viewed Rush as a Republican puppet. Whatever the Republican agenda is Rush agrees. It's like he has no mind of his own. I am a fierce liberal but I take a Republican stance on abortion. It's like he doesn't even care if it is right or not he just agrees because it's the Republican thing to do.

I don't really like Rush Limbaugh, but I am not liberal, even with that being said. It has to do with what others here have said.

Yep -- that's why the radio show pisses me off (though I must admit I thought his TV show was funny). And that's exactly why most of the democrats I've met in real life piss me off, too -- they're just like him, only with the democratic agenda!

I still vividly remember some of his parody videos, like Hilary's "I Can't Remember." The video really enhanced the song for me. Shoot, I have to find the audio to that parody now! My mom listens to Hannity.

Heh... wow, I'm the third person here who actually remembers his TV show. Yeah, it was hilarious. It's quite different from the conservative TV shows of today, because it relied more on entertainment than news or serious commentary. I could never figure out why it got cancelled so quickly. I was a big fan of the TV show, though I rarely listen to Rush on the radio because he bores me.

Rush's show had started out doing pretty well. If I'm not mistaken, a lot of stations move it to later hours, thus becoming its death knell.
