Nope, its not. Only at #74 on Alternative currently, however it does have a +33 bullet this week. It's doing decently on Active Rock though at #29 with a bullet of +29.

A little random, but...meet Amy Lee's father. John Lee is the morning DJ for K106.3 in Arkansas, the oldies station and one heck of a ukelele player :) www.youtube.com/watch?v=ysCLN6ck1YQ

If you can get past the screaming (Oh My God was there EVER screaming) the link below is a clip of Amy Lee singing Epiphany with Staind in South Africa yesterday during My Coke Fest: www.youtube.com/watch?v=4e7sMPHa5TYEvanescence actually headlined the show the other night. Guns n'Roses pulled out because of an injury.

From L.A. Daily News
"Rock act Evanescence on the rocks 05/04/2007
Evanescence guitarist John LeCompt said Friday he's been fired from the band, and he also said drummer Rocky Gray has quit, so things aren't looking good for the multi-platinum, two-time Grammy winning alternative rock act, one of the biggest bands in the world -- but apparantly shrinking by the second.
'I'm done, and I'm pretty upset about it,' LeCompt said, calling from Little Rock, Ark., the band's home town. '(Singer) Amy Lee called and fired me today. There's absolutely no loyalty in this band.'"

No there isn't. What the fuck is going on? Is he the one with the dreads or short back hair? And the Drummer is the big guy right? Urgh, AMY WHAT ARE YOU DOING! Are you that crazy? What's going on? I can understan pissing Ben off. The way he acted after the split confirmed that he needed to go, but these guys?

I've read here and there that Amy may have a little bit of a diva attitude. Don't know if that's true, just commenting on some things I've read over the years.
Amy Lee is Evanescence. Maybe she should just drop the band name and call it the Amy Lee Band. That way she could fire the touring musicians as much as she wants to without anyone really caring.

blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu...e-dbf8c60d06edHey everyone, I've been getting your messages all morning and figured I would give a little personal insight to this situation. Around 3:30 pm yesterday I recieved a call on my cell from Amy. This call wasn't from a friend who appreciated me but from an enemy who was prepared to hurt me and my family. Without any warning or negotiotiations for my future, I was fired for no good reason. We have not always seen eye to eye on everything, but who does? Our common goal was always the same. To make Evanescence the best rock band it could ever be. I have always given blood, sweat and tears to make that happen but apparently that is not enough. I have now become just another of the people fallen by the wayside on the revolving door of her life. It's funny how many of us there are now. I guess it's good for lyrical content, though. Maybe I will be among the blessed to have a song written about me, too. Maybe the song will be "Call Me When You're Broke". Whatever, as of next week my band Machina will be doing major label showcases in New York. There is a big buzz for it and we hope it will go well. I'm not going to sit here and be negative because that is not who I am. What I will say it that I know that many of you think she is some genuis or saviour of some kind. I just want you to know that my family and I will forever remember her as being about as deep as the shallow end of a child's wading pool and her lyrics about as deep as the 2 dimensional surface that they were written on. Singing beautifully for the duration of a record or two can move the spirit of the people listening, but the way you treat those around you who you are supposed to care about speaks volumes more than that and I would hope that some of you are listening. Well, that's it. I hope that sheds some light on the current situation for you. Thank you all for the good years and being the most incredible fans and friends. Maybe I will see you again. I am going to play with my little boy now, peace. That's from the Eva Boards. The fans are devastated. Those are some harsh words but it does seem Amy can be a nut case at times. I still think she writes awesome music. I love her but gosh girl, you're hurting everyone around you. This band will soon disband and she'll become nothing more than a has been if she can't start treating those in her life, right!

I can't wait for Machina. That's the new band with the ex-singer of Future Leaders Of The World.

Machina's got a show here in New York City on May 16th to showcase for major labels and (hopefully) get signed. I will be going to show my support. Of course, four days later, I'll be seeing the very band that Rocky and John left Ev is the first band that I can say I've ever been emotionally attached to. This situation, needless to say, has been extremely difficult on all sides. Most everybody's had something to say. To make things all the more dramatic, the same weekend that John and Rocky were announced to have left, Amy Lee got married to her fiancee, Josh Hartzler. That name may not be familiar to most anybody here...but he's written stuff with David Hodges' (former Ev member) band Trading Yesterday (who came out in support of Amy Lee recently) and Ben Moody. As a matter of fact, they'd all been given songwriting credit to the song "What About Now" on Daughtry's album...which leads me to this...when did they collaborate on writing this song or did they write it at different stages? Because the rule of association is leading me to believe that Amy Lee along with the two original members (Moody and Hodges) have had at least some sort of contact recently. I'm not speculating them getting back together...but I'd hope that their collaboration is leading them to some sort of reconciliation.

Amy Lee has no songwriting credit on "What About Now". Where did you hear this?

I've always had the strange feeling that Evanescence was like the stage name for Amy Lee deep down, rather than a group name, just like Five For Fighting is the stage name for John Ondrasik.
Each of their major label studio album covers features Amy Lee, but no other band member, on the cover. Many of the music videos, especially "Everybody's Fool" and "Lithium", feature Amy Lee by herself. And she has achieved a sort of celebrity status that sets her apart from anyone else that has ever played in the band.
I do absolutely believe it's unfortunate the line-up keeps changing so abruptly, with vague explanation to why that is the case. But is it wrong to argue that Evanescence was Lee's stage name for the beginning, rather than a true band name? From the beginning I perceived this as Lee's brainchild, even while Moody was surely a great influential force in previous eras with the more hook-driven, pop-oriented appeal.
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Two years ago all this news would've been devastating but I'm alright with the death of Evanescence and the birth of the "Amy Lee Show"-there's nothing inherently evil about that concept so as long as the music continues to be good, i'll still be listening. Plus there's a female-fronted band that's already replaced them...three guesses what it is!
