wm.allaccess.com/allaccess/itdisixt.wmaThis is now on "TBD" status. Most likely because they recently announced that their lead singer has left and they have now replaced him with some other guy. They should have at least waited until the new album was like a year old. What are they gonna do now? Record the album again with the new singer? ???

The singers bailed on Escape the Fate and Bloodlined Calligraphy shortly (like, immediately) after their most recent albums came out.
Just put in a replacement and go with it.
Vocalists who waited longer before bailing include the frontmen for Comeback Kid, Haste the Day, Bury Your Dead, and Misery Signals.
But yeah, I was shocked as hell when Nick suddenly quit IDT. Same with BYD.

This reminds me that Hidden In Plain View broke up just after finishing their new album. Supposedly the new album is still going to be released this year, but I wouldn't hold my breath. Seems like a pretty poorly chosen time to have "creative/personal differences".

I really enjoy my copy of IDT's Caitiff Choir and have found myself going back to it often. I wasn't keen enough on Sirens' first single to get the record immediately (and also I can't afford to buy much music in general), but I'd really like to check out Sirens somehow in the near future.
Sucks that their show opening up for Silverstein and Aiden last fall would have been my last chance to see them with Nick as their vocalist. (But being third on a bill, they're not gonna get to play for any more than half an hour.) As it stands, I only got to see them once. Now it just won't be the same. It may as well be a brand new band to me.
