Roadrunner Records just confirmed that "Rain Wizard" will be the third and probably final single from Black Stone Cherry's debut album, slated to go for adds sometime next month.
I'm not disappointed because "Rain Wizard" is a pretty good song, but I would've liked "When The Weight Comes Down" instead. At any rate, I hope this catches on, because "Lonely Train" and "Hell And High Water" both did pretty poorly, even on active rock. A shame because they deserve better.

Lonely Train didn't do that bad , at least it went top20 on active rock , not too shabby for a debut single.

This really reminded me a lot of Shinedown, which caused me to check out Black Stone Cherry's album, what do ya know. I like it. I must note whomever their guitarist is has some damn talent as there are some incredible riffs on their album. Backwoods Gold is an awesome song to blast with the windows down while you're rushing in and out of traffic down University Blvd. to get to class on-time. Anyone that goes to UCF has to get that reference
