So, is this a new single?
I just listened to it. Aside from a few "yeah yeah"s, the whole thing's instrumental. I thought that was pretty cool.

Ha. That's funny, but no. "The Ecstasy Of Gold" was the first track off of S&M. It was an opening more than anything.

From the website... We know that you are waiting for new music and while it's not exactly a new song, the Metallica version of the classic "The Ecstasy of Gold" will be released on February 20 as part of a tribute to composer Ennio Morricone. As you know, the composition from the film "The Good, the Bad, and he Ugly" has been opening Metallica shows for over 20 years and now the band is honoring Morricone as part of the album also including interpretations of his classic scores from Bruce Springsteen, Roger Waters, Celine Dion, Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, among others. For more on Morricone and the activities honoring him, read the official press release below. We All Love Ennio Morricone Track listing: 1. I Knew I Loved You - Celine Dion 2. Wow, never did I think Celine Dion and Metallica would ever be on the same album... Well, Metallica and Ja Rule were once on the same song.
