I had no idea what that was since I've never heard the actual song before, and apparently the crowd didn't really either since there wasn't much of a reaction. You haven't heard "Umbrella"? :o That is teh song that defines 2007. Even my dog has the hook stuck in his head. Nope. I know it's hard to believe considering it's a huge hit at Pop. I hardly listen to the radio anymore anyway, and if I do, it's almost always my local Alternative station and once in a while a Hot AC station.

I haven't heard most pop songs this year and I wear that like a shiny badge of honor.

If it wasn't for a particular "female friend" of mine, I could assume I wouldn't know anything that's played on Pop unless it was played on Alternative of course. EDIT: No he's talking about me in the post down below haha.

Pfft. I'm proud to have heard some quality pop songs this year. There is nothing wrong with liking pop songs if you are a rock fan!

Knowing you, those quotations could really mean anybody. Maybe everybody.EDIT: Sorry, I need your original quotation so I can display my finely-tuned wit.

Which of us is Chris Tucker and which of us is Jackie Chan? I want to be that gigantic dude that's like 8 feet tall. All I know is that me along with the entire packed theater couldn't stop laughing at that scene. Still, as funny as I thought that movie was, it has nothing on Superbad, which was by far the most hilarious movie I saw all summer as stupid as it was. Damn, yeah ok I'm getting way too off-topic here.

(Or maybe it never left and I've been erroneously mistaking it for a typo all this time.) Didn't expect this from Gerard, but he apparently recognizes a great pop tune when he hears one. Yeah, I haven't seen a pop song get this much universal acclaim and love since Kelly Clarkson's "Since U Been Gone" (which had way more, but still). I expect it to top many a critic's year-end "Songs of 2007" list.

Suprisingly i find this song pretty catchy. I liked a few songs on there first album, but im far from a fan of there newer stuff, and them in general.

From AbsolutePunk: My Chemical Romance have announced plans for a "recording hiatus," on which the Reprise Records quintet will "evaluate themselves, and reshape themselves."

Makes sense. They just finished promoting a really solid and massively popular album. Need some time to refuel before taking the plunge again.
