Why is Paris Hilton on the CD cover of this? Easy answer. Because she's EVERYWHERE. Smart move by the Pumpkins to get promotion. If there's one celebrity that they could use to promote themselves, she's perfect. ::Sighs:: It still sickens me with the amount of attention she gets for hardly doing anything. I think that's almost exactly the total opposite of the reason why she's on that cover.

^ Yeah, I think she's on there as a joke because of the whole thing with her in jail.

That's what I hate. Bonus tracks, sure, but they're always so hard to track down it's almost not worth it.

Penance, if you go to hype machine, you'll find them almost immediately. Or download them from soulseek.
Anyway, when the hell is the video for this song premiering?

I use Soulseek religiously, it's not always that easy to find good quality b-sides, and by that I mean VBR.
Haven't heard of Hypemachine though. I'll look into it. Thanks.

I thought there was a topic about Doomsday Clock but I couldn't find it. anyways I'm not a big fan of this band though Tonight Tonight was a great tune. anyways Doomsday Clock is a great song! I prefer it a lot more than Tarantula. I may have to check out the album when it comes out.

After now listening to Zeitgeist for the first time, I can't help but say that it feels GREAT to have the Pumpkins back

he used it to promote his new album. there is a time and place for that. I'm not a fan of LiveEarth and thought it was a joke to begin with. However the face he was using it like that was pretty gay. plus the line "I know everyone is gonna go buy the album and not illegally download it like you did with our other ones... just kidding." no you weren't kidding idiot. plus he is just full of himself. plus I downloaded the album and it does blow after all lol

However the face he was using it like that was pretty gay. So Billy using an environmental awareness platform as a tool for self-promotion came off as homosexual to you? That's weird... ??? P.S. If he wasn't joking about people downloading all the other albums, he's certainly unclear on chronology. Illegal downloading only came into prominence after the last Pumpkins album was released. Hell, he encouraged fans to download the Machina sequel.

I'll just assume that based on their history that he actually was joking. And then there's web sites where you can stream virtually all of their songs, which was what got me into them as much as I was for awhile. Also, every song is available on iTunes.
Unlike some others, I take most of what Billy says with a grain of salt. For instance, I still think the Britney thing was a cop-out, because seriously why would he want to talk about "competing" with an artist he has nothing to do with.
