June 5th.
New album already?
I figured they would have probably still been touring behind the Lights and Sounds album.

Wow, I'm absolutely stunned.
I am perhaps more stoked to listen to this single than any this year.
"How I Go" really should have been the second single from L&S. Then, they should have released "Down On My Head". "RLH" was really an "Ocean Avenue" clone. They screwed up promotion beyond the first single from their last album mightily.

This surprises me quite a bit which I'm now incredibly psyched to hear. I've heard just some demos and clips of material from the upcoming album, and while it sounds a lot like a mix of earlier material, I still can't freaking wait to hear it. I hope they can go back to being one of the more successful current pop-punk bands.

it doesn't surprise me. they went into the studio along time ago. Lights and Sounds flopped and the second single didn't get much play. it was the right decision to get some new material out there instead of sitting on their hands. hopefully this will be a good turn around.

I wouldn't exactly say the single flopped. If you're speaking about the album flopping then, yes, you make a fine point. But none of the singles from Ocean Avenue (album) made it past #19 or so. "Lights And Sounds" (single) shot straight to the top 10, and eventually peaked at #4, if I'm not mistaken. It's the singles after "Lights And Sounds" that disappointed gravely, but then most, if not all second singles, around that 6-month time period, flopped drastically, which means Yellowcard are not alone. Hopefully that means they can have a couple successful singles from this album. I'm anxious to hear the new single, but they may want to consider changing the title.

I like the song, but think Fighting is much much better.

Not to sound snobby or anything, but I think people are definitely over Yellowcard. They just don't have the fanbase they used to, and their music is getting pretty tired at this point. Hopefully they can shake things up on this new album because otherwise I have the feeling this might be the end of Yellowcard.

Fighting - nothing special after the first listen...maybe it will get a few spins from me, but it won't do anything huge
Light Up The Sky - a bit more catchy, and i liked this more. after the first listen..i dont see a huge impact on me, but anything is possible.

According to the Shiny Toy Guns MySpace at www.myspace.com/shinytoyguns, Yellowcard is embarking on a damn long North American/European tour with the Shiny Toy Guns and Blue October. Yes, I know I probably should have posted this in the Shiny Toy Guns topic, but this was the first thread out of the three bands that I found.

Pompano Beach Amphitheater, huh?
And that's a very awkward lineup.

Pompano Beach Amphitheater, huh? And that's a very awkward lineup. Yeah, I HATE that place, but if the price is reasonable, I'll have to consider going. As "you" personally know, Yellowcard is quite an act to see live plus they will have lots of new material to play then since this is all the way in November. I'd be eager to see Blue October for the first time, and while I'm not a huge Shiny Toy Guns fan, I could surely tolerate them.

The track "Five Becomes Four" has made its way onto Yellowcard's MySpace page at www.myspace.com/yellowcard . All I know is that just from these three songs, I already am going to absolutely love this album and it beats the living hell out of Lights And Sounds (album).

So, Paper Walls has apparently leaked, however I've only found it in a 192 bitrate, so i'm going to continue waiting until i find a better quality version. Since, I've made like half the posts in this thread, obviously you can all tell for sure that I'm beyond excited to hear this

It's missing tracks 12 and 13. Surprised you didn't notice that. Stop spreading fake leaks, jackass.

So, the entire Paper Walls album can be streamed at Yellowcard's MySpace page at www.myspace.com/yellowcard . All the excitement over the past few months that I've been anticipating this album has definitely paid off because it's just as "orgasmic" in my opinion as I could have ever expected and by far their best album yet. I don't give a flying fuck what anyone says, but this has easily become my new favorite album of the year

Thank god Lights & Sounds was just a filler album and not a sign of things to come.
