Meh. How can we really appreciate it then? I'd prefer all acapella.

This will probably be huge with the hip-hop community. I'm not sure how represented this will be in rock though.

They're releasing a follow-up edition featuring vocal collaborations with other artists and remixes. www.punknews.org/article/23629Sorry to see they're suddenly through caring about commercial success, but this album will go over like a lead balloon.

I'm personally looking forward to it. It wouldn't be like it's the first time, as some of those appeared on most of the '90's albums. And they even have a compilation of the instrumentals out there.

I've tried to listen to instrumental albums before. On a whim I downloaded an album by a group called Particle, and in another I checked out the solo album of Omar from Mars Volta. In both instances, I found that the albums just could not hold my interest. They tended to drag and become boring.
However, and I guess this is the exception to the rule, I find Sigur Ros to be quite relaxing and entertaining, but then Sigur Ros does have lyrics in their music, even if they're unintelligible.
I guess I'm just one of those people that needs words.

"Off The Grid" is going for adds too. Two instrumental singles being released at once. Wonder how that'll work out for them.
