First single off of their album "The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi"...they confirmed the single on a bulletin on Myspace:
Hey everyone!
This is an exciting day for us. We just put up the first new song from
our upcoming album "The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi"! We are incredibly
excited to be getting a new jam out there into the world, and we hope
you all like it. The song is called "The Crop and the Pest," and you
can hear it on our purevolume page. We thank you all for being so
patient in waiting for this new record. Writing and recording "The
Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi" has been a long and rewarding process for us,
and it's hard to convey in words just how excited we are to share this
record with you. We'll be putting up a couple more songs between now
and the release, which is August 7th. Please go give a listen to "The
Crop and the Pest" and tell us what you think!
This week we are also shooting a video for the first single off the
new record, which is titled "Smoke and Mirrors." We're greatly looking
forward to this experience. The concept for the video is really cool,
and we think you're all gonna love it. Once we finish the video, we
head out west to start our tour with Saosin and Poison the Well! For
those of you coming to see us, you will be hearing a few new songs as
well as a few old ones.
Also, we just announced our first full US headlining tour in support
of "The Earth Sings Mi Fa Mi"! It starts August 10th and ends
September 15th, and we have some great bands joining us for this one.
We have Emanuel, Envy on the Coast, Hopesfall, Goodbye Tomorrow, and
Strangler all coming out with us, so please come check it out! We will
be playing a ton of new songs and of course some old ones as well.
