First single off of Conviction.
Even though Victory Records has lost Taking Back Sunday, Hawthorne Heights, and Atreyu...they still seem to be doing ok.
They just regained Thursday and Silverstein had a decent debut.

Thursday is only doing one album with Victory and I guarantee it has more to do with the fact that Victory owns most of the video footage and crap they want to use for the album, which is a rarities collection and not a new studio album, than any patching up between the two parties, no matter what may be said in interviews.

And why wouldn't Victory be doing well? I think the list you just rattled off just goes to show no matter how many bands wise up to their situation, Victory will always find another cash cow to ride.

I'll greet this with an open mind, from hearing that Aiden aren't interested in being so blatantly "goth-punk" anymore. I mean you can only be dismissed as Misfits/AFI/My Chemical Romance rip-offs so many times before you decide to expand your musical palette in order to be taken seriously and have a legitmate career. wiL ( ) recently did an "idol worship" feature in AP, I believe it was, with Brian Molko from Placebo, so y'know, if Aiden put out something that's actually good this time, I'd be willing to admit as much.

www.myspace.com/aidenReally not a bad song, its listenable and they *did* try something new this time. I doubt its gonna translate good live. A shame because thats one thing Aiden are really good at. The album already leaked, and its not out until the end of October! :o Whats with these Victory releases leaking so early?

I think Victory does it on purpose. I've heard Roadrunner does that too.

I mostly agree with Tortuga on this one. It's definitely a new sound for them (from what I've previously heard), but it's not a particularly memorable song. At least they tried.
For what it's worth, if I were to have been introduced to this song in a blind taste test, I wouldn't have been able to tell you who it was, and that's definitely to their favor.

Ugh, the video for this is pretty bad. wiL ( ) needs to take some Valium or something. He's got way too much energy for what a serious band would give a performance of the song. Also, this sounds like a subpar Good Charlotte song and Aiden try so hard in the video and with the video that they come off as the Simple Plan of "goth-punk." (P.S. Simple Plan writes catchier songs.)

Haha, I like how its the third time you've rolled your eyes at how William spells out his name. Oh, Aiden. Please make more campy videos like these. That was such over-the-top fun. Not to mention gay as hell. OMG, the lipstick scene! youtube.com/watch?v=daED2S9TmGM

This song is solid; it's a lot different from the "I Set My Friends On Fire" days, but it's still good. I like the album as well, although its a departure from "Nightmare Anatomy".
