First single off sophomore album, Once Upon A Time In The West, out Sept. 3rd. This single has been leaked & is in high demand. I have the HQ cd rip that everyone is seeking. XVideo: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=doJFoLayt0sIf you liked their debut, chances are you'll like this song. Not a dramatic departure at all, but a bit more orchestral & anthematic (those drawling "heys" are pretty undeniable).

I heard a live version of this a while back and wasn't impressed at all. This HQ version is better, but it's slightly boring.

Great to hear that they have a new album coming out so soon.
But yeah, this isn't really any different from most of the songs on Stars of CCTV, so unfortunately I don't see them getting their first huge hit out of this, or even getting another top 20 appearance.

It's a surefire UK Top 3, or probably even #1. But probably not even Top 30 here, but who really cares. "Ruby" couldn't even get past #18 (or #17?) and it's arguably the biggest UK hit of the year.
Anyway, it isn't its similarity to CCTV that will prevent it from gaining ground in the US; it's probably more the fact that US radio rarely gives UK acts more than one (or two, if you are very lucky) chances to rack up hits. There's very little patience for non-American music in general. Muse probably are the most successful UK act on the Alternative charts right now.

Yeah, this is obviously not much different from anything off their previous album and won't make a splash at all on the US charts. But I'm okay with this being on the same level as the Stars On CCTV material. I like it and I hope it has lots of success in the UK.

I loved the last album and based on this will be buying the next one in the Fall, This actually reminds me a lot of Ruby by Kaiser Chiefs and without doubt will be Top 3 in the UK. How did Ruby fair on the airplay charts this year?

Infectious as hell, will probably annoy me after a couple of months, loved the last album though.

I'm slightly obsessed with this song right now, but I can't help but fall victim to the charms of any good "ey ey ey oh oh oh" song.

Not sure if I like this quite as much as "Cash Machine" or "Hard To Beat", but it's another solid track from them.

This coming from someone who likes The Twang? Admittedly, Tied Up Too Tight from their debut album was a guilty favourite of mine, it's just that at least The Twang sound as though they're enjoying themselves! If and when their sophomore release sounds exactly the same as LIWIFLT then I'll gladly rescind my previous comment!

I think this song will have a bit of success here going Top 20.
Didn't Cash Machine fly up to like #11 and then just hit a wall?
Hard To Beat was the #1 most played song at our station last year.

Now this is a grower! I didn't care for it at all at first, but now I love it.

Album debuts at #1 in the UK amidst generally strong reviews Interesting, on first listen I Shall Overcome was the only other song that stood out (in contrast with CCTV, where the eventual singles all had me from the get go).
