This has been lingering right around the 50-55 mark on Alternative for quite some time, so it's not a shock to me that it's the second single. However, I still need to hear it.

This actually sounds more like a Raconteur's song than a traditional White Stripe's song.

Having said that, I knew this would be the second single, as it's easily likely the most accessible track off "Icky Thump".

Another Top 5 for the duo is certain I think with this release.

While this does sounds like a Raconteurs single, i gotta say i don't like it as much (or not quite as fast) as i did "Icky Thum" which as different as it was, was actually not a bad track (IMO of course).

This could squeeze into my chart, but will not match the result of the previously aforementioned "Icky Thump"

It's fine enough, but seems kind of contrived and paint-by-numbers for a White Stripes single. Not really one of my favorites, but just for them I hope it'll catch on to radio, which it probably will, since they're a big enough name.

Not bad by any means, but my expectations for the White Stripes are pretty high.

Yeah, this has basically been my reaction as well. It's good enough, but I would've at least expected something like this as a third or fourth single.
