Does anyone have the stats on these two artists? Where their songs have peaked over the years? And where will their new singles peak?

I think I also have most of Sarah McLachlan's peaks, though there may be a few inaccuracies:
Building A Mystery 12 Sweet Surrender 18 Adia 16 Angels 3 I Will Remember You 10

I still find it hard to believe that "Soak Up the Sun" only peaked at #15 considering the ammount of reccurent play it must have gotten by now. I still hear this song on the radio at least once a week, regardless of which town I'm in. Similarly interesting is that "Anything But Down" peaked higher. I don't know that I have ever heard that one on the radio.

One thing to note is that it's a really summer-friendly song, which I feel will get increased airplay for the next few years around Memorial Day weekend, ie just as summer is approaching. When comparing it to "Anything But Down", SUTS probably spent more weeks on the chart, even though it had a lower peak, and was a much stronger recurrent. And on the Billboard Hot 100, "Soak Up The Sun" did much better than "Anything But Down", reaching the top 20. (The Hot 100, of course, takes into consideration all formats and SUTS was absolutely massive on AC and Hot AC) I don't even think ABD was a commercial release, thus it probably never even touched the Hot 100.

Soak Up the Sun should've been a MUCH bigger hit than it was. Since she didn't include a guest rapper, it only hit #15.

"The First Cut Is The Deepest" finally has a pop adds date now (November 18th, 2 weeks after the album comes out, but whatever), so hopefully she can add one more hit to her list.
