Can anyone tell me how this guy did on CHR/Pop? I'm sure "All I Have" is his biggest pop hit. I also remember "Loungin'" and "Hey Lover" also doing well on the pop charts back in '96....
Was his first single "I Need Love"? I'm sure they all did well on rhythmic....

Here's what I have for him:
I Need Love #14 I'm That Type Of Guy #25 Around The Way Girl #24 Loungin' #48 All I Have (featured artist with Jennifer Lopez) #1
"I Need Love" was his first pop crossover single, although he did chart earlier with "I'm Bad" and "I Can't Live Without My Radio".
"Hey Lover" just missed hitting R&R's pop chart, although I'm pretty sure it made Rick Dees' countdown (during a time when a lot of rhythmic songs were figured into his chart).

Thanks for the data. Yes, I think "Hey Lover" was on Dees, though I don't think it appeared on the end of the year chart.
But I don't get it...I remember hearing that song, "Loungin'", and "Doin' It" all the time on the radio; I'm really surprised they didn't do better than they did on the charts.
Maybe I'm thinking of urban radio, but still I thought those songs were pretty big crossovers...

Loungin' also made Rick Dees countdown during that time when he was using a more rhythmic sounding chart.
