Calling "Too Bad" a "Gold" is really a misnomer. It should instead be "Plastic" or "Paper". Or maybe just "Trash" will do.

I'm going to ignore "j's" comment, but I noticed that too, it's really messed up, and even "In The End" is Gold, and that peaked after "How You Remind Me"

OK, so? You want us to picket outside Mediabase's corporate offices in protest?

Seriously, I think people get the point that Mediabase has a few screwy inconsistencies, but now all these topics reporting individual mistakes are getting annoying, in my opinion. At the least, can we have just one topic to collect all these reports?

Good idea.

At the R&R boards, I thought making a whole topic about it made sense, because anyone working at R&R might stop by at the boards and quickly be alerted to the mistake, (although that rarely happened, the possibility is still there). Now that we're at proboards, it doesn't make any sense anymore.

I think "Too Bad" and "Toxicity" and "Aerials" by System Of A Down (see Alternative forum) shouldn't go gold yet. "In The End" at least was released in 2001.
Songs go recurrent on different formats at different times. Should songs go gold on different formats at different times?
