I think this is Good Charlotte's best single they have released. When I first heard it, I was like, "Are you sure this is Good Charlotte?" How can they have a different sound on the same album.
This will not do as well as the other 3 singles, simply because it's the fourth from the same album. It will peak around #22.
I guess I would have made the same decision as (whatever their label is) for the order of realeasing songs. "The Anthem" and "Girls & Boys" were definitely perfect for the summer. "Hold On" definitely doesn't have summer written on it. Along with "Perfect" from Simple Plan, I think that "Hold On" is a slower-moving, prettier song just right for the holiday season.

This is probably the most pop-sounding song, except for "Girls & Boys". I'll say #19

They should've released "Say Anything," it's one of my favorites on the album.

#25. It's not that it isn't radio friendly; I just don't see this group having a 4th big pop hit from the same album.

Who was the last band to have four Top 20s from one album? The Goo Goo Dolls did it if "Iris" was put on "Dizzy Up The Girl." Has it been done from an album released in the 2000s?

This is sure to be a flop, not only because it is their fourth single but that all of their previous singles, despite peaking fairly high, experienced hefty losses and became mere weak recurrents.
My Prediction: #37
Sincerely, Noah Eaton

Say Anything would have been a sure-fire hit in my opinion. That song just sticks in your head. They didn't release it, so I don't think they'll have another hit off this album. That being said, every song on that album has hit potential, and because of that, their next album will sell very well out of the blocks.

I think this song would've done well if it was the 3rd single, but now that it's the 4th single that's going to hurt it a bit. It's probably their best song and most deserving to be a hit. #18.
