So is this song going to go anywhere? It's already too high on the chart for my taste but I was wondering what people thought about its chances to go higher.

I think it could do quite well, I really like it! It might even make Top 10.

I like "This Is the Night" better. These mid-tempo pop songs don't quite cut it for me anymore.

"If I was invisible Then I could just watch you in your room"
Doesn't this sound like a stalker song? ;)

I hope this song can make top 20 at least, and I think it's very much possible, maybe even top 10.

This song almost has me buying the album. The song has really grown on me, and shows Clay CAN put out a good pop song. Mediocre reviews of the other songs has me hesitant, however.
Has this song grown on anyone else as it gets played more and more?

I loved the song from day 1. This song is PERFECT for pop radio, and I am so happy that stations are giving it a shot. This song deserves nothing less than top 10, and yes I could even envision it going top 3.

Be prepared for another huge jump to #1 on the Hot 100 for Clay when this single gets commercially released next month. With the airplay in addition, this song will be bigger than "This Is The Night".
I'm not sure if this song will go Top 10 on pop, but the fact that radio is embracing this song is really something; I'm hoping it will keep climbing the charts for a while.

RCA is releasing a single for this? I wonder why him and noone else? Because his fans are so loyal, that they would buy his urine in a bottle, let alone a CD single.

This is horribly cheesy, but I admit it's grown on me the same way Hilary Duff's 'So Yesterday' did.
Which means I'll just be annoyed by it again in another week.

I saw the video the other day, and I think I'm starting to like it. It's catchy.

why is this goofball getting all the attention when he LOST American Idol! >:( Well, America finally got it right!! Clay was miles ahead of Ruben as far as talent and pop potential. Notice that Ruben is nowhere to be found, although he did have a decent hit on Urban AC, but that is far from having the success that Clay has currently accumulated.

The voting was so close that they decided to release competing singles, you remember that, right? That was evidence of who would sell more records, Clay won. Therefore, they are putting their efforts behind Clay, because they think he will make them the most money. The fact that he has some talent on vocals is only a bonus, they could care less, they just want sales.

Just Ruben was the American Idol. They made some announcement shortly after, that with the tremendous support Clay was receiving that they would continue the battle with dueling singles. Clay had more than double the sales of Ruben.

It defeats the purpose entirely, and should just prove how pathetic the competition really is/was. The winner is barely pushed (i NEVER hear any promo for Ruben, yet my ears are bleeding at how bad Clay's stuff is, and how often it's played)

This is kinda what happened in the UK. Will Young won the original Pop Idol, but Gareth Gates ended up becoming a bigger star.
Ruben may have won the competition, but he's pretty much faded out. It's not the fault of AI that he's not successful, blacme the people who bought Clay's singles and albums & not Ruben's.

Millions of people love this show. I like it a lot too. Sure, it's just for money, but it's entertaining to watch. Who cares if more than one of them gets a record deal? If they have a good voice. Why not? Anyways, regarding Clay Aiken, he's very very dorky, but the song "Invisible" is growing on me and I... like it now! :o

Clay had more than double the sales of Ruben. I don't know about overall, but not for first week sales in the United States.

I don't know about overall, but not for first week sales in the United States. He had more sales the first week, and Ruben began to rapidly plunge off the chart while Clay's single stayed up there for quite a while. I don't have the total numbers, but I'm pretty sure I heard Clay more than doubled Ruben's sales. I know in local stores (which doesn't necessarily reflect the nation I know) Clay's were all gone and Ruben had tons on the shelves yet.

Even though that's true in most areas, where I live it was the complete opposite. You were not getting Ruben in this area. Your only option was to order it online. They couldn't give away Clay's single here.

The B-side to the 'Invisible' single is 'Solitaire.' Yep, I'd say he has a solid chance at hitting #1 on Billboard.
