Ok...she released this song...made a video...but WHERE THE HELL IS IT ON RADIO?!?! This song has great potential....its much better than "Intuition" because "Intutition" got annoying. This is a good song. Anyone know when or when was the add date of "Stand"??

Sigh...it's no where to be found in the top 50 because it's plummeting down the chart.
Quite disappointed to say the least.

I just saw the video 2 weeks ago on a local music video channel. That was the first time I heard the song.
It's really catchy. It's too bad that radio isn't playing it. :(

Even worse is the fact that VH1 stopped playing the video already. It's such a great (not to mention high-budget) video that unfortunately will never be seen by most people.

I saw the video on VH1 a few days ago. I thought it was alright, but I still think people are overrating this one.

I think this song is decent but it should have done way better at radio especially following up "Intuition"

I haven't seen the video, but the song is [red]terrible[/red]. One of the worst of the year, easily. The lyrics are panpretentious & don't fit with the music, which is too amateur & repetitive. Both parts are annoying as hell.

The song is real good, too bad the video and the song flopped. Jewel deserves so much better. The only station I saw the video on was "Fuse".  |

LOL......... I thought "Stand" was overlooked. It was a pretty good song and the message wasn't bad either. And as for "Intuition" that is an awesome song that brought Jewel back to the front of the crowd. It really is too bad that "Stand" didn't do as well.

But what about "Stand" sounds like Jewel? The music is more pop along the lines of "Intuition" (though less sell-out ish.) I guess the lyrics are standard Jewel except that they're more pretentious, but when you put those together you get a horrible mess. |

You thought the "Stand" lyrics are bad? I love them! They are absolutely brilliant. It's like Alanis's "Ironic" with things that are actually ironic.
