This won't be a big surprise, but I love the song. ;)
I love the remix with ODB too (though it's not really a remix, just the same song with a rap added).
It's getting early play. It doesn't even go for adds until December 1st. Some of the stations playing it jumped the gun because they've gotten requests for it (like KIIS in LA).
I won't even attempt to predict the peak. I'm never good at that. Songs I love/hate always make it lower/ higher than I hope. lol

So I guess this has surfaced on radio...I am interested in hearing it.
I'm sure z103 will do a Pump it or Dump it on this track this week. And with my luck, I'll miss it.

I don't think an explanation is necessary.

What version did you hear? There's the regular radio-edit non-rap version and there's the one with the rap. Then you add the two different versions (non-rap and rap) that some Clear Channel stations are playing. Those have the hook at the beginning and are a lot faster. Oh, then there's the album version that is at his website. ;)

I listened to it on his site and it was better than I thought it would be. I don't like it as much as "Blowin' Me Up" yet. (But that took a good two weeks to grow to like, so...)

He certainly does his own thing, doesn't he?
You have to give him that. lol
By the way, he wrote and produced it with his long time co-horts Riprock and AG.

I guarentee he didn't write or produce anything. Maybe he just sat in the studio and watched other people produce it? and they let him put himself down as a producer...?

Holy crap this song is awful!!!
And I'm not just saying that to piss you off Jayne.
Seriously though, he has a great voice, but it's not showcased at any point in that song. And the song itself has no redeeming qualities.
Good lord.

Oh dude. Don't be an ass. He not only wrote all the songs and produced some (not sure how many) , he also arranged and conducted strings, and played the guitar, piano and drums. Whether you want to believe it or not, the dude *is* talented. He hardly just gets his name added to the credits. He's been writing, producing and arranging since No Strings Attached (probably even before that). It's not like this came out of the blue...
Let me tell you something. Artists like BT and Basement Jaxx thought he was nothing but a boyband puppet until they met and then worked with him. Then they liked him well enough to put him on their albums as well as working on his. So yeah, he's come across this idiotic attitude from fellow artists and overcome it. You won't be the first or last person who will try to dismiss his contributions to his music just because he's a boyband member. He'll survive..
Blah blah blah. Dude, the fact that I see your ass in Britney Spears posts acting like her stuff is actually good and talking about her like she's a real artist, makes me dismiss anything you have to say (just joking.. kind of). Actually, the fact that you *always* dis JC makes me dismiss what you say about this song. It's always the "I think he's a good singer but this sucks" crap from you. Give it a rest already. You giving your opinion on him is about the same as me giving mine on Justin Timberlake. You know *exactly* what it's going to be before you even read it. lmao

I just think he had the potential to have some really catchy, hip songs, but instead, he chooses to make really weird songs. Well, good luck to him anyways. He's always been the most talented N'Syncer, vocally.

he chooses to make really weird songs. Maybe it's like Willa Ford's weird arrangement and "very strange harmonies, things that are tricky for a normal person to pick out." "That way, nobody can take [her] sound ... unless [she] arrange for them."

I'd rather he be true to himself and make "weird" songs than be some sort of puppet of his label who makes safe and boring music. ;) What's amusing is that after I wrote what I did about artists like Basement Jaxx thinking he was a puppet before they met and worked with him, I found this: www.news.scotsman.com/features.cfm?id=1263692003Like I said, some people thinking he's some sort of untalented puppet who's not really involved in the making of his own music isn't new. Funny how that always changes once someone works with him.

I've never said she was anything but an entertainer who isn't vocally talented, a la Janet & Madonna.
And I do think JC has a better voice than anyone else in NSync. I also think that he has yet to produce anything quality because the two songs I've heard from him suck.
I'm actually hoping I love his next single just so I can prove I'm not as ridiculous as you are regarding Timberlake.
But you're pretty old, so I'm not surprised you're set in your ways.
