That Has Had A Majority Of Their Chart Appearances Be Number 1s? Avril has 3 out of 4 and 3 Doors Down has 3 out of 5.

I guess that would apply to any one-hit wonder with a #1 hit: Sinead O'Connor, Bobby McFerrin, The Heights, Dionne Farris, The Cardigans, Shawn Mullins, Linkin Park.
Mariah and Paula both have pretty nice track records.
Over on the AC chart, Matchbox Twenty hit #1 with their 2 Top 20 hits. 'N Sync hit #1 with all 3 of their Top 20 hits.

I asked for the most Number 1s, so the one hit wonders don't count. Linkin Park also has the remix of "In The End" and "Somewhere I Belong" that have charted, so they aren't eligible.
