I say neither. They are getting play just because of the album being released tonight. I'd go with "Shadow.

Its Boom Boom.....The video is scheduled to be shot soon. She has better songs on the album. But I cant possibly like Britney. Can I? Ive heard everything ive heard off the album! AHHHHHHH!!! THAT SUX. I want to hate her! lol
I have been liking a lot of pop lately over Alternative. I feel that Mod Rock is a dying format.

Lots of times when big acts like this release new CDs, a lot of their songs get adds. It happened with Justin and Christina last year. This is not surprising.
I still have not heard any track off the album except for MATM. I am waiting to buy the album in order to listen.

Boom Boom is definitely the right choice for the second single for her in the U.S., but with this album, she needs to release different singles in the U.S. and Europe kind of like she started to with Britney. Ideally she'd release:
U.S. Me Against The Music Boom Boom Touch of My Hand Outrageous
UK Me Against The Music Breathe on Me Touch of My Hand Toxic
But we'll see...

Boom Boom is definitely the right choice for the second Boom Boom Sucks!! This one is destined to flop. Prediction: #16 I think choices for 3rd/4th singles could be "Toxic," "Breathe On Me," and "Everytime"

FLZ has been playing "Boom Boom"... not too crazy about it myself (Ying Yang Twins are out of place on it).

This album is really good, but the single choices are horrible.

I agree. If Jive don't release Touch of My Hand, they are insane. Besides the fact that the chorus is hooky as hell, it's about mastrubation, and is bound to be her most controversial song. Imagine the requests! The more i hear Breathe On Me, the more I dislike it. It was great at first, but gets old quickly. Touch of My Hand is always good, that's why i think it should be released third. My guess is that Toxic will be the fourth single, just because she's played it on every new performance.

A poster at a Britney board works at a mid-market pop station as an intern. He got to sit in on a meeting between the MD and Jive's radio rep. Jive has been going around to MD/PD's asking their opinions on singles choices and according to the rep the most enthusiastic response was for "Outrageous". Which is not one of my favorites but that might be a good thing since the songs I like best tend not to do as well at radio.
For example I liked "Dirrty" and "Fighter" better by far then the other singles yet they did not do nearly as well at radio.

I want "Toxic". It's totally unexpected and could take off in a big way.
"Outrageous" is repetitive and "Boom Boom" is exactly what I'd expect her to release.

the planned release schedule is as follows:
U.S.
1. MATM 2. BOOM BOOM 3. Breathe on Me 4. Everytime
International: 1. MATM 2. Toxic 3. Breathe on Me 4. Everytime
But, the singles can change like on the last album. But, the second singles are set.
I think that "Outrageous", "Showdown", and "Early Mornin'" could work as singles, but everything else on the alsum would flop big time.

I think they are only getting airplay as some stations are previewing the album.

I want "The Hook Up" to be a single, but I think "Boom Boom" is a smart choice. It will probably do better than MATM

I think either 'Breathe On Me' or 'Touch Of My Hand' should be the second single, cause they sound so different from MATM.
And there's been a lot of discussion about TOMH, so it would make sense to release it next.
Third single would be 'The Hook Up' if it was up to me, it's a totally different sound.
'Boom Boom' and 'Outrageous' just sound like your typical poppy urban music, and not very good examples of it either.

the planned release schedule is as follows: U.S. 1. MATM 2. BOOM BOOM 3. Breathe on Me 4. Everytime International: 1. MATM 2. Toxic 3. Breathe on Me 4. Everytime Figures. Everything else is the same except for the worst song I've heard on the album getting released in America while the best I've heard goes overseas. It reminds me of "Overprotected"/"Anticipating".

Boom Boom is a boo boo! "Toxic" is SO much better/radio-friendly. However, "Breathe On Me" and "Everytime" are good choice.

Touch of my hand is my all time favorite Britney Spears song so naturally I want that to be the next single. If the record company wants to end her massive streak of flops this is a great way to end it.
I would then release Breathe On Me as it is the second best song on the album.
Other songs with some chart potential. Everytime Outrageous The Hook Up Boom Boom (I would say this song but its good at first then gets old at a lightening speed. This is a formulaic record and will end up flopping after a first week of big adds. This song is a trap and the record company should stay away from it until the better singles are released.)

Touch of My Hand HAS to be released! I agree with Adonis - this song is a worldwide hit waiting to happen.

I jsut saw on Hitmakers that KIIS FM in L.A. officially added "Outrageous" this week. I wonder when they'll make the official single announcement.

Outrageous is a good song but KIIS needs to let the listeners decide. This must be the program director's favorite. He should look at what song is going to get her a hit the fastest.

Thank GOD Kiiss are playing Outrageous. She'll obviously only release one more hip-hop influenced, she didn't write either of them, and this one is far superior. I hope radio stations catch on and start adding this as the new song regardless of the record company - like they did with Dilemma w/ Nelly and Kelly - and it'll eventaully go for adds and Boom Boom will be forgotten. Then i'll have to e-mail this KIIS guy and tell him that TOMH needs some spins in February or so...
