I'd LOVE to see her get another slow-burning top ten out of this. If that happened, though, she'd probably be limited to one hit per album again, cos she'd get major recurrentitis. Still, one hit is better than none, cos if this dies now I see no reason why any other song would do better, as good as her new CD is.
The song has totally outdone expectations on other formats anyway, so even if it doesn't progress much further she's done well, and most importantly the album is a hit.

I'm getting extremely sick of "White Flag"(as you are obviously) ;) Bring on "Life For Rent" or "Stoned"!(her current Billboard Dance Club Play top 20 hit)

I'll predict she'll get to around #30, but lasting about 14 weeks in the top 50.

"White Flag" is Dido's best single yet and she deserves a Top-10 stamped here.
Unfortunately, I don't see this happening. She'll most likely suffer the same fate as Live's "Heaven", where despite huge Hot AC success, she can't mirror the success through CHR/Pop. The only difference, however, is Dido going Top 30, unlike "Heaven".
So I regret to predict my peak here.
My Prediction: #23

This is a very good song. The only reason it might be held up a little is that there are so many HOTAC leaning songs doing well on pop, some stations may try to counter that by playing fewer songs like that.

the weird thing about me... i haven't liked her other stuff that much.. but "White Flag" has gradullay grown on me enough for me to make it go to #1 on my sporadic chart! :o

There's NO way that this song will hit #1. I like this song a bit, but I don't see it making much of an impact if at all in the top 20 so I will say it will peak at 25.

To be honest I think this is the most boring song she ever released. I'm surprised this is one of the two that made Top 40.
