Amy Studt's fourth single is a Sheryl Crow cover of "All I Wanna Do."
This is very disappointing. What is the point of Amy covering the track? The song does not appear on her original album "False Smiles;" I'm guessing the album will be reissued by Christmas to cash in.
After she surprised me with a third Top 10 UK hit of "Under The Thumb," I was sure she was going in the right direction. Possibly she would release "Ladder In My Tights" from her album. Instead, Amy is now covering Sheryl Crow just in time for the holidays! Very embarassing for Amy to look back on years from now.
Amy doesn't even live in California so how often does she drive down the Santa Monica Blvd? A better question is, does Amy even have a license?

The Street Teamers among you will have already heard this, but for everyone else, here’s the news you’ve been waiting for: Amy’s next single is coming our way on 15th December, and it’s going to be an interpretation of the Sheryl Crow hit, ‘All I Wanna Do’.
Sheryl, who is one of America’s leading rock singer / songwriters, not only gave her blessing for Ms Studt to record a new version of the timeless tune, but she also helped out by providing some vocals.
The result is an energetic reworking of a confirmed classic, and ‘All I Wanna Do’ looks set to be one of Amy’s most exciting singles yet.
The video is being filmed this week, and we’ll have all the news direct from the set very soon.
