KCJZ San Antonio's Top 5: "Here Without You": 119 "Baby Boy": 119 "Suga Suga": 118 "Hey Ya": 117 "Why Don't You & I": 115 It's second behind WKGS for "Suga Suga" and "Hey Ya" and the leader for the other three. WKGS is second for "Baby Boy." WBLI is second for "Why Don't You & I."

Looks to me like it's a "hot hits" station targeted to people in their cars during rush hours and other types ways people listen when people are on the go. I would not listen to any of these stations at work.

At least this station has a couple of rock songs in the super-high rotation. And there are only 5 high-spin songs compared to 7 for WKGS.
Still, this is about twice the number of spins as any station should play their top songs.

I dont get it, why is it the worst new Pop station? Cuz it mirrors the CHR/Pop chart? ??? Because they're playing each of their top five songs at least 16 times a day (once every 90 minutes). For anyone who listens to the radio for more than an hour or two at a time, that's horrible rotation.

Yea, that is alot...it seems so manufactured and cookie cutter when the station plays the same songs over and over again like they are being 'paid' to do so

Since KCJZ just switched to pop a few weeks ago, maybe they're doing it to build cume. Hopefully, the power rotations will be drastically reduced over time.
