This is her 3rd single. What do you think of it?

I love her voice, so I won't say the song is bad. It's just not great. The lyrics/production is your typical middle of the road Diane Warren ballad. "Strong Enough" is a much better song (but wouldn't do well on pop radio)
I say it peaks #28

It's a pretty good song... I think it'll get to around #13.

I love the song...however; I think it drags a bit until the bridge and the final chorus. The lyrics are lovely and Stacie sounds really sincere on the song, however..In those opening verses, it lacks the extra "oomph" that all great Diane Warren ballads have had in the past.
Once the song hits the bridge though, it turns itself around. The early chord change sounds awesome, and Stacie's voice is beaming with confidence. The bridge builds steadily leading into the gorgeous final chorus where Stacie's riffs allow for the true natural beauty in her voice to come out. Stacie is one of those artists who can take a song written externally and make you believe that it's coming straight from her heart.
Who knows how this one will do....Stacie is hot at radio right now though! It'd be nice to see Diane Warren back in the Top 10 of the pop charts though....REALLY NICE. :)

I think she should have released "Hesitation." But I can see why they would want to slow things down.

If it were me, I would have released "Bounce Back" to mainstream. Yes, it is old for Christian music enthiusiasts, but I think it would do much better than I Promise probably will.
Back to the current situation, I think this song won't do that well. I think it will peak in the high 20s, maybe like 25-27 range.

I love it actually. I have been haering it on the Muzak DISH network for weeks now. In addtion to that i decided to add t my playlist about four weeks ago. It is currently in my top 30 moving up slowly because of the it was not an offcial single, which is part of it.

I think it's extremely overproduced. I don't like it at all. But then again, I hate Diane Warren.

I remember that's what everyone said about "More To Life" when it first came out. I guess she just likes to give her songs a little something extra. I haven't heard this song but I hope it does well just because I think Stacie deserves it.

Believe me there is no reason to hate Diane...she is an awesome person..not like her music is fine, but for heaven sakes don't hate her ???

I got the CD for Christmas, and so far it's really good, I think "I Promise" will peak around #22 or so, but I would've released "Security" even though it is old to the Christian chart, where it ends up in the top 30 for the year-end.

I agree with "Security" but it is a song mentioning and praising God, so I don't know if pop stations will be overly open to jump on the tune. Yes, MercyMe did do well earlier this year, but that was an anomaly and is definitely not becoming a trend.
