Well Billboard counted it as a re-release, and it got enough airplay right around New Years 1999 to reach #40 on the Hot 100, #36 on Top 40 Mainstream, #27 on the Top 40 Tracks chart, and all the way up to #13 on the Rhythmic chart, as well as #33 on Adult Top 40 and #45 on the R&B/Hip-Hop chart. Don't know about the other charts, but I think on the Hot 100 it just appeared at #40 and then disappeared the next week.

R&R must've kept it as a gold because I don't have any record of it recharting there.
