They finally start getting their spin counts to a manageable level (and with a decent variety) and now this.
Of those two choices, I'd actually prefer they switch to Country/Southern Rock, whatever that is. 96.1 the Rocket is already in Mobile as a Classic Rock station. What I'd like over both of those, though, is an Alternative station.

Hot lost a lot of momentum when Hurricane Ivan struck the area in 2004. Hot had to broadcast on less power for quite some time afterwards. They started making WABB look over their shoulders. I'd too rather see them go alternative as New Rock, One Zero Four (in tribute to the former New Rock, One Zero Seven in Pensacola).

*quickly looks at their playlist* Well, Nickelback will take a hit, but maybe not totally as perhaps the mainstream rock format will keep this in rotation.
Bye bye T-Pain and Ray J! :)

Looks like Berman got some misinformation. One, they're not flipping until Thursday at 8am, and two, "Cadillac Jack" is apparently going to be a DJ there (right now he's at a Kicks 101.5 in Atlanta, a country station, and the domain "kicks1041.com" was registered just recently). My guess is they're gonna be a country/southern rock station.

WYOK goes country. Like they really needed a 100th country station down there. Technically, they already get four: two from Biloxi-Gulfport, one in town (WKSJ) and another one from Pensacola (WXBM).

Hey Guys, you got the wrong cadillac jack. The CJ in Mobile at the new radio station is Cadillac Jack did 6 years in Philly At WXTU 92.5 nominated several times for CMA awards and in the country music hall of fame.
