:o I was not expecting even 3 adds for Dave Matthews. This is a surprise.... "Save Me" is a decent song.
Good to see Lasgo starting to take off outside of my area, where "Alone" has been a hit since the summer. This is my favorite dance song of the year and it's so much better than "Something."
Again, nice to see Sheryl keep pulling them in slowly but surely.

Go Mya. I didn't think she would do well since the song isn't doing so well on Rhythmic/Urban formats. But hten, her songs tend to do well on CHR/Pop regardless of those 2 formats.

Here are my comments for each song:
44 MYA "Fallen"- I don't think I've heard this.
22 DAVE MATTHEWS "Save Me"- not the best Dave Matthews/Dave Matthews Band song, but it's nice to see it get 22 adds.
19 RUBEN STUDDARD "Sorry 2004"- couldn't care less about this. I don't love it, but I don't have anything against it either.
18 WIDELIFE w/ SIMONE DENNY "All Things (Just Keep Getting Better)"- I don't remember this. I listened to it once.
17 MARY J. BLIGE f/ EVE "Not Today"- Never heard, but I don't expect it to be all that great.
15 ALICIA KEYS "You Don't Know My Name"- This is off to a nice start. Hopefully it won't pull a "Powerless(Say What You Want)", which also got off to a nice start but hit a brick wall in the 30s.
15 KYLIE MINOGUE "Slow"- Listened to this once. From what I remember, it wasn't that great and wasn't particularly radio friendly.
11 TWISTA f/ KANYE WEST & JAMIE FOXX "Slow Jamz"- never heard
11 BRITNEY SPEARS "Toxic"- nice to see this getting double digit pre-impact adds.
10 SWITCHFOOT "Meant To Live"- Not a whole lot of adds, but I'm pretty sure this'll be one of those slow builders.
10 GOOD CHARLOTTE "Hold On"- After a slow start, this seems to be picking up nicely. Hopefully it'll do well.
10 BEYONCE' "Me, Myself And I"
10 NICK CANNON f/ R. KELLY "Gigolo"- This better not be a big hit.
10 EVANESCENCE "My Immortal"- yay!
9 EAMON "F**k It (I Don't Want You Back)"- This just keeps on getting adds. I like the song, mainly because of its humor value.
9 LINKIN PARK "Numb"- I think this has what it takes to go top 10 now. It'll take some time though.
8 FUEL "Falls On Me"- I'm kind of burnt on this song, but it's still nice to see Fuel getting another pop hit.
8 KILEY DEAN "Who Will I Run To?"- Keep 'em coming!
8 KID ROCK "Cold And Empty"- What is this? I don't see an adds date for it. Is Kid Rock about to have another pop hit that was never even released? Has anyone heard it? What does it sound like?
8 J.C. CHASEZ "Some Girls (Dance With Women)"- this song sucks.
7 JAY-Z "Change Clothes"- I finally heard this and I like it.
7 DIDO "White Flag"- good song
7 OUTKAST f/ SLEEPY BROWN "The Way You Move"- really good song
6 LIMP BIZKIT "Behind Blue Eyes"- This is just getting started at alternative so it's a little surprising to see it doing so well(relatively speaking) at pop.
5 KELIS "Milkshake"- This song rules.
5 JAGGED EDGE "Walked Outta Heaven"- I don't remember what this sounds like.
5 SHERYL CROW "The First Cut Is The Deepest"-
5 BLACK EYED PEAS "Hey Mama"- see Ruben.
5 PINK "God Is A DJ"- another fine piece of shit from Pink.
5 JASON MRAZ "You And I Both"- I like this.
5 STAIND "So Far Away"- I can't believe this is still getting adds. It needs to lose its bullet already.
5 KELLY CLARKSON "The Trouble With Love Is"- easily her best single so far.
4 HILARY DUFF "Come Clean"- Never heard and don't want to.
4 LASGO "Alone"- hopefully this'll take off. We need more dance songs.
4 MURPHY LEE f/ JERMAINE DUPRI "Wat Da Hook Gon Be"- Never heard. This can't possibly be a good song though.
3 SARAH CONNOR "Bounce"- never heard.

10 SWITCHFOOT "Meant To Live"- Not a whole lot of adds, but I'm pretty sure this'll be one of those slow builders. Worth mentioning is the fact that Z100 is one of the stations that added this. they rarely jump on Rcck songs from new artists this early, so if that's any indication, this will be huge.

I like "Change Clothes" Can Fuel spend more weeks on the CHR-Pop chart than the Alternative chart? How many weeks on each chart does it have? As somebody said, it's a good start for Kylie (+66) With 89 spins, "Cold And Empty" is the top song that had 0 spins last week. "Slow Jamz" is +119. Switchfoot is +219 and could debut the week after the break.

I like Fallen. It has a nice sample that's being used (I think it's from the Pharcyde?). Anyway, good to see Switchfoot get those adds (that song is building on me) and another yay for Evanescence. I haven't heard it here on Z-100 though so I'll hold my breath until I turn blue And how in the heck is Fuel STILL getting adds. I thought that song was dying or dead. I like the song and all, but it's not moving that much more. Outkast might just replace Outkast at #1. I truly think it's possible now that Kelis has lost some steam. It seems like the next big song is the Mary J./Eve collab though. That song could become a biggie in '04.

Wow I'm amazed at all those early adds for "Slow," the song is far from radio-friendly although it's probably one of her more unique songs. To me, it's her best song in a while.
