Jive has decided to release a fifth single from Justified because of the Album of the Year nod. Justin is currently in LA filming a video for "Let's Take a Ride" with Francis Lawerence. The video and the song will be releaed in January.
How do you think this will do?

It's more radio friendly than "Senorita". They waited too long after "Senorita" finished though. I predict #14.

It'll probably do as well as "Voice Within" is doing now

He's out of the country. There's no way he's in LA making a video. Maybe MTV is a tad bit confused.

"Take Me Now" would have made a good single. I never heard this song.

I heard this song, it's better than all his other singles (except for "Vry Me a River") which still isn't saying very much. He should have released this fourth.

Was "I'm Lovin' It" ever officially released? Because that would make "Let's Take a Ride" the 6th single. I really wouldn't mind a break from JT music anyway. The recurrent play of his 4 hit singles is more than enough JT on the radio for me.

I think this is a decent choice, if they are indeed releasing it. I'm glad it's not "Take It From Here" - those lyrics are beyond horrendous.

I don't know about MTV reporting it, but if it was scrolled along the bottom of the screen then it should be taken as a rumor. If John Norris or someone was there to announce it, then you can believe it.
But the info was reported yesterday from the justin-t.com fansite, so I don't know how accurate it really is...
I wouldn't mind if it's true, I think that's one of the better songs on the album. I just think it's strange they would wait so long, regardless of the Grammys. The album seems pretty much over now.

No. It also wouldn't be the sixth anyway, because "I'm Lovin' It" is not on "Justified". Really, that's odd. Does I'm Lovin' It already have a video for it? I thought there was anyway. It hadn't gotten a lot of airplay anyway, so I guess it doesn't count. I think 5 singles for any artist is pushing overkill and overexposure. We'll see what happens, but I don't think it'll do all that great.

Yes there is a video for "I'm Lovin' It", it was on TRL
but as Josh said, ILI does not count as a single because it IS NOT on Justin's album, Justified.
If it was on Justified, then yes, it would be considered the 5th single, making Let's Take a Ride the 6th, BUT I'm Lovin' It is not on Justin's album, so how can it be a single? It can't.
Let's Take a Ride is the 5th single off Justified

This is hot. Should have been the 4th single over "Senorita". I could actually see it beating "Senorita"'s peak though.
