www.radioandrecords.com/NewsRoom/2006_04_13/Topstory.aspBIA Financial Network Re-Orders Top Billers It's the second time the media financial and strategic advisory firm has had to restate revenue numbers from the 2005 report that it released on April 6 and amended on April 7. BIAfn says the newly revised numbers, released late Wednesday, are a result of additional revenue information that was supplied to the company. The change moves Clear Channel AC WLTW/New York to fourth place from first, with $58.9 million in revenue. CBS Radio's Alternative KROQ/Los Angeles leaps to first place, with $67.6 million in 2005 revenue, while CBS all-Newser WINS/New York places second in the readjustment, with $60.8 million in reported income. The remaining Top 10 2005 finishers: Clear Channel News/Talk KFI/Los Angeles, at No. 3, with $59.3 million; Emmis CHR/Rhythmic KPWR/Los Angeles, at No. 5, with $57.9 million; CBS News WCBS-AM/New York ranks sixth, with $56.2 million; Clear Channel CHR/Pop KIIS/Los Angeles comes in at No. 7, at $52.8 million; CBS Sports WFAN/New York grabs the No. 8 slot, at $52.5 million; Tribune News/Talk WGN/Chicago is No. 9, with $52.4 million; and CBS FM Talker KLSX/Los Angeles rounds out the top 10, with $51.2 million. The order of BIAfn's top 10-billing clusters for 2005 remains unchanged, though several stations' revenue numbers were revised with the release of the updated report. "Top Billers" is not the same is "Most Profitable" though. Some of these stations may have large expenses.
