Will Madonna's top 40 streak continue for 2004 due to MATM being in the top 40 for the last published R&R chart of 2003?

If you use the R&R chart year, yes. If you use the 2004 calendar year, then no, something else has to continue it.

I honestly don't care. I think Madonna has already established herself as an icon of this generation and doesn't need something silly like a Top 40 streak to prove her staying power.
Besides, she'll probably be on the soundtrack of some movie by August and release a single from that that will hit #1 on the Dance Singles chart.

Her Billboard streak is what really counts...
It's clear that Mrs. Ritchie has lost her MOJO so 2004 may end her record. She lost a lot of respect by doing MATM. Not only did she collaborate with Britney Spears but she somehow managed to make a Britney song even worse! :o
