1 I exploit you; still you love me.
2 Tell me--do you like what you see?
3 I want to run and hide--right now!
4 Iβm mighty patient when I have to be.
5 Maybe thatβs the reason every heart needs a home.
6 You will always wonder how it couldβve been if youβd only lied.
7 You can help me make this feeling come alive.
8 Itβs not hard to predict this ending now.
9 It takes conviction; it takes a will to survive.
10 Look at this place--it was paradise, but now itβs dying.
11 What weβre feeling deep inside us, long before it shows.
12 I feel like Iβve been used to help you through another night.
13 Donβt you think I donβt know this is where I belong.
14 I love you even if you think that I donβt.
15 I will not fail nor falter--I shall succeed.
16 You can have everything your heart desires.
17 You know that Iβd be with you now, if I had the choice.
18 Everything you give to me is everything I dreamed of.
19 See you dancinβ in my dream; feel your heartbeat inside of me.
20 There are many things that I would like to say to you.
21 No one in the whole universe could ever compare.
22 And old friend calls and tells us where to meet.
23 I can love how I like if I want it.
24 You came around and brought about a change in me.
25 They knew we were lyinβ, but they smiled just the same.
26 What weβve gotβs too strong to be denied.
27 All alone with you makes the butterflies in me arise.
28 Iβm so dizzy I canβt see; canβt make out the forest for the trees.
29 Ooh baby, youβre way out of line now.
30 Iβm the one that loves you baby; canβt you see?

12 - Another Night: Real McCoy I don't think that's the song, but it does sound very familiar. It's right on the tip of my tongue.

Me thinks Daniel is still stuck in the early 90s.

I don't think that's the song, but it does sound very familiar. It's right on the tip of my tongue. Well you're right! I wouldn't pick a lyric which included the name of the song! Me thinks Daniel is still stuck in the early 90s. Well you're right to a degree...they range from '84 to '96. I think that's probably the case mainly because '96 was the last time I ever worked at a "real" radio station, so I was more-intensely familiar with the music from listening to it so much. And it also seems like recent songs would be too easy anyway, but you're welcome to start your own Lyrics Quiz from '97 forward!

I would have been able to take credit for the Depeche Mode one also if I would have been an hour earlier. ;)

Tsk tsk tsk...63%! Here's a second line... 2Take a look at me; Tell me--do you like what you see? 3I want to run and hide--right now! Avarice and greed are gonna drive you over the endless sea. 4You put me off and I will hunt you down--again. Iβm mighty patient when I have to be; 7You can help me make this feeling come alive; When you hold me close that's when you set me free. 11When a love begins to wander, no one ever knows What weβre feeling deep inside us, long before it shows. 13Donβt you think I donβt know this is where I belong. Give me the time; say that you're mine. 14I love you even if you think that I donβt. Sometimes I find you doubt my love for you, but I don't mind. 15I will not fail nor falter--I shall succeed. My perception is altered, I do believe. 16You can have everything your heart desires-- The perfect boy; for me, the perfect girl. 27All alone with you makes the butterflies in me arise. Slowly we make love, and the earth rotates to our dictates. 29Ooh baby, youβre way out of line now. Unaware how this all got started;

3 Ship Of Fools (Save Me From Tomorrow)/World Party
4 When Your Heart Is Weak/Cock Robin
11 The Language Of Love/Dan Fogelberg
14 What Is Love/Howard Jones
15 Move Any Mountain/The Shamen
And since #29 is not an obscure song like the five above songs, I'll give you a hint: It was #1 in the first half of 1990 and this singer hasn't had a Top 40 song since.
Another hint: It's NOT by the singer who avoids bowling alleys at all costs lest someone stick their fingers in her head.
OK, it's "Don't Wanna Fall In Love" by Jane Child.
