Just curious...
How did this album do overall?
Were "You Weren't There" and "Another Day" the only singles?
I heard "Another Day" now and then towards the beginning of my arrival in Italy and expect a new single but it never came.

I think it did quite poorly everywhere it was released.
It should've done better... but it definitely wasn't as good as her first album and overall was a little bit bleak. Also, I don't think she's the type to do much promo.
I heard that recently she's just disappeared from the public eye again and nobody knows where she's gone! Who knows... she doesn't seem like the 'poor me, tortured artist' type in her interviews.

"Sorry" was the last single released without a video or much support from the label.
The album doesn't really have anything that's very commercial. Great album nonetheless though.

I find it vastly superior to her debut album. It is a very downbeat album, but it's a truly beautiful one, start to finish.

I doubt she'll be dropped, since she's one of the biggest selling artists in Norway, and she's signed to Virgin Norway.

I've only heard the 2 singles from this album and they weren't up to par with the first album. Nonetheless, they were still great songs. Sean, was she ever promoted in Australia?

I have to disagree with you and Sean and agree with MandyFanUK. This album was so much better than the other one. I didn't even like "Unforgiveable Sinner". The 3 singles mentioned above were very good.

I liked her first album better but "Another Day" was just as strong. The first album happened to have some songs which were more radio friendly.
I still think "Whatever It Takes" should've been released as a single.

She didn't do any personal promo in Australia, but they did do some very minimal promotion of "You Weren't There" via a national weekly video clips show. I don't think the single cracked the top 50 though.
"Playing My Game" is one of my favourite albums of all time, it would be very hard for her to make another album up to that standard, IMO. Nevertheless the 2nd album was really good and a grower.
I heard she was popular in Italy and that it's her biggest market outside of Norway. I doubt she'd ever be dropped, she's a huge seller by Norwegian standards.

I heard she was popular in Italy and that it's her biggest market outside of Norway. I doubt she'd ever be dropped, she's a huge seller by Norwegian standards. She is relatively popular in Italy. I heard "Another Day" a medium amount during my first month there, but then it kind of disappeared. That's why I was so surprised another single never poppped up after that. Here are the peaks of her songs from this album on the Italian International Airplay chart (Most played non-Italian language songs in Italy). #2 for "You Weren't There" in October 2003 #15 for "Another Day" in January 2004 Italian Sales: "You Weren't There" - #1 debut and 13 weeks in the Top 20 "Another Day" - #17 debut/peak, 1 week in the Top 20 So "YWT" was the considerably bigger hit there. #15 in airplay for "Another Day" doesn't sound that great, but I still heard it here and there. Although, that chart seems a little weird because I remember hearing Alicia Keys "If I Ain't Got You" EVERYWHERE I went in March/April, but it only peaked at #20 and not til July ??? But still gives a pretty good idea of how Lene did there.

Is there any site that tells how much an album sold in each country or whatever?Or is there a Eurochart for albums like there is for singles?
