What do you think will be #1 after "Hey Ya" falls out of the top notch...which won't be for a while considering it currently has over 9,000 spins and the #2 song has in the 7,000 zone. Considering the closest to getting there is the OTHER Outkast song, since A- its the closest bulleted song to #1 and B- it has the highest bullet.
So my prediction for the next #1 is "The Way You Move"
Is there any records or anything with weeks at #1 by one artist with two different songs?

I'm starting to get tired of all the "records" that Outkast is supposedly setting/breaking. We should really be putting a big fat ASTERISK next to any mention of Outkast from now on because their displacing each other at #1 or having the Top 2 positions or anything of that sort that might possibly happen isn't exactly the same as when Nelly held the Top 2 on The Hot 100, for example.
"The Way You Move" and "Hey Ya!" is really by two different artists. Just because they decided to take credit for each other's work doesn't change that. If Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson started releasing separate solo singles crediting themselves as "MariahJanet" we'd probably laugh at them now, wouldn't we?

I hate to see "Someday" lose its bullet. But my guess is "The Way You Move" will sadly be the next #1. :(

I don't think "Someday" lost its bullet for good. It's been hurt by the year end countdowns, thats all. I think it will regain its bullet in a week or so.

Is there any records or anything with weeks at #1 by one artist with two different songs? Well, putting aside the "two different artists" argument, I can say there isn't a heck of a lot of precident on the R&R chart for this sort of feat. The only time an artist has ever replaced themselves at number one was back in 1978 when the Bee Gees' "Night Fever" replaced "Stayin' Alive" on top. Both songs had 6 week runs so I guess the current weeks record would be 12. Ironically, the same longest amount of time an artist has ever stayed on top with only one song (Donna Lewis "I Love You Always Forever", the longest reigning #1 to date).

Given your line of reason: TLC's "No Scrubs" and "Dear Lie" are by different artist, since Chilli sang one song and T-Boz the other.

Nickelback may regain their bullet by tomorrow, they're now at only -5! I thought that this would be the next #1, until "The Way You Move" came barreling out of nowhere it seems, but if there is even a chance for "Someday" to make #1 it's really going to have to pick up fast, because the spin difference is only 300 from "The Way You Move" and so far Baby Bash & "Hey Ya" aren't losing a lot yet. Other than that, after "The Way You Move" I think Linkin Park may have a chance, other than that with exception of Evanescence there isn't any #1 material.

After "The Way You Move" possibly dethrones "Hey Ya," I think "Numb" or "My Immortal" both have a chance to hit #1.

So the two songs are completely separate? Like, one did no production or writing on the other? I thought that each member sang his respective song and had more creative input, but they both worked on each others. I dont know much about Outkast apparently
