Any international chart data for "Bring Me to Life." I've always wanted to know how they've done around the world, but not never got the chance to look up the charts. I'm sure they have a bunch of #1s.

I found some certifications for BMTL Australia-Double Platinum Sweden and Greece-Gold. Didn't find much more than that, but there should be more. I'm trying to find all of the year-end awards, awards, and certifications I can find (I'm making a scrapbook of sorts for the Evboarders :)). I find it amazing that they have the #2 album on the United Chart ;). I can attribute these numbers to the success of My Immortal right now and also Grammy buzz. They don't have to be #1 to be one of the most successful artists in the world. USA-#9 UK-#5 Canada-#1 (that's after 41 weeks. They were also #1 during weeks 19 and 20. I'm doing some research.) France-#20 Germany-#5 Austrailia-#6 Brazil-#9 The Netherlands-#5 AFAIK, they've been #1 in the UK and Canada, but they haven't even peaked at #2 in either the US or Austrailia. Both countries have peaks at the #3 spot. Which leaves me wondering if they could still realistically hit the top 3. They have the success of My Immortal and they have the Grammies coming up and if they come up with a couple of Grammies, they could seriously benefit from it so I guess it is possible. Sorry for rambling ;)

BMTL was #1 for multiple weeks in Australia. "Going Under" did reasonably well, can't remember but I think it went top 20. "My Immortal" has just debuted at #4 and the album is sitting at #3 this week (it's peak to date) and has been certified 3 times platinum for sales of 210,000.

On Canada's radio chart, Bring Me To Life spent 12 weeks @ #1. Going Under peaked @ #13. The new peak position on the singles chart for Going Under is now 12.
My Immortal is still climbing the Top 10 of the radio chart, so far it's #9. The single is now in stores.
Fallen has now spent 4 non-consecutive weeks as Canada's #1 album. It was recently certified quadruple platinum (400,000 copies shipped.)

Fallen has gone to #1 this week in Australia after they have been touring recently and obviously My Immortal has been doing well too.

It'd be amazing if Evanescance could match this success with their sophomore album.

they are a one album horse I've listened to material other than Fallen and IMHO, I don't think that's the case. They may not do better than Fallen, but I don't think they'll be a victim of the sophomore curse.

I think this band IS Amy Lee and her unique voice. Very few artists can duplicate the success of a very successful debut album. I wouldn't expect their second album to sell as well but I certainly think it will be multi-platinum around the world.

They've got a lot of potential in them, I'm sure they can pen another great album.

they are a one album horse I strongly disagree. I think their sophomore album will definitely sell as well as their debut, perhaps even better. They've got the talent in them. So shush and stop being so negative. >:(

I don't wanna be disappointed by their next effort, but I know Amy Lee knows what it takes for a quality album.

So shush and stop being so negative. >:( While I agree that they aren't a one album horse, its easier said than done to sell 3.5 million on a band's sophomore album. I bet they'll definetely go Gold, and 95% of going Platinum. 80% of going Double Platinum. And he was just voicing his opinion too, not like he said anything majorly negative or derogatory.

I haven't heard much in the way of collaborations other than Wes Borland producing or writing a track or two for them.
On the upcoming Punisher soundtrack, Amy Lee is teaming up with Seether to remake the Seether song "Broken" which was originally on Disclaimer.
It's scheduled to be the second single off of the Punisher soundtrack. The first is Drowning Pool's "Step Up".

Because God knows that Wes Borland has had Midas's touch on everything he's been involved in since leaving Limp Bizkit. well you also need some credible music talent (basically everyone but Fred on LB) but you have to realize that ever since Wes left Bizkit, Limp is a joke no one takes seriously and the lyrics are pure crap...

Because God knows that Wes Borland has had Midas's touch on everything he's been involved in since leaving Limp Bizkit. You know what the funny thing is? On the Evanescence board, there was a rule by the moderators there saying "Lovers of Limp Bizkit would be banned". Terry Balsamo played for Limp Bizkit a long time ago (I think it was before Wes came in), Wes was in the band at the height of its popularity and Amy is now working with him. I wonder if they would get banned lol. Probably not. Amy's still there...for now :)

Are you serious? LOL!
Good point, their latest album has had their lowest sales, ever I believe, I don't even think its gone Platinum (sold, not shipped). I couldn't believe they released "Eat You Alive" as the first single, they expected that to help sell albums?! Disturbing video, Fred's made up sex stories are becoming more and more disturbing as he gets balder and fatter and as time moves along. Anywho, back to Evanescence, I just hope that Wes doesn't f*ck up what they've got going.
